Lets be realistic. How many of us actually does hardcore offroading? 80% of the time the bikeis run on highways and tarmac. Only if you go to leh ladakh the off roading comes into play and that too its not hardcore off roading. Hardcore off roading is basically picking up a offroading trail and testing your machine. Yezdi is a great alternative to himalayan with modern engine, performance and features. Only thing that remains to be seen is aftermarket service and network. RE himalayan is a very good bike only till now as there was no competition in market. Hundreds of people have reviewed himalayan all over the world and have always mentioned the lack of 6th gear and top end performance. Even after 5 years RE has done nothing to address that as they take people for granted, Have been happy giving 24 bhp out of 411 cc. Its good in a way that more competition might improve the overall quality issues with RE.
No doubt yezdi is a better cruiser than Himalayan but we cant deny this fact that on low rpm Himalayan pull way better than yezdi which make it dumdaar machine... And an extra charm on off-road.. I will go for Himalayan, purely adventure motorcycle
For touring - you may not need to be off-roading all the time...given the specs - I think Yezdi should manage okay in off-roads if not beat Himalayan. Why aren't anyone talking about the weight and cc difference between these bikes!! It would be very apt to see actual footage of offroad performances of these bikes giving it a wholesome review that's needed at this hour!!
RE must learn introduction new features. Same old bike with new colours. I love RE but not inclined towards customer feedback. Bhai this guy is completely Himalayan biased
Yezi ADV is much better proposition only if they can provide good after sale services. Very few people do actual off-roading or trail rides, most adventurous ride most people including me will do with these category of bikes will be going for leh-ladakh or Spiti valley ride where both bike will perform well. So for highway rides and day to day commuting refinement or easy to ride agility which is required.

In rain mode the back tyre ABS does not get switched off. It becomes more intrusive and does not allow the tyre to skid in wet conditions. In off-road mode the back true ABS is switched off, this allows to slide and have fun in gravel. You have said this incorrectly in the video.
