The fact that this guy was able to tank and keep up with stone free, a stand with A in strength and B in speed(E is the average human parameters), show's how being an experienced combatant is important as a stand user. Take bucciarati for example
tbh all stand users are automatically twice as more durable than an average human, literally every major or minor villan and protagonist with a few exceptions had sustained insane injuries in their fights and still were able to at least talk without grunting in pain and move. But still, I'll tip my hat to Westwood for being one of the physically strongest minor villains in Jojo.
Don't forget the fact that survivor seems to decrease pain and boost your figthing instincts/abilities, but being an expirience fighter like westwood will benefict more of that.

Okay, This is basically jolyne being very smart, if youu see a guard beating the shit out of somebody else, and he loses some of his skin, and getting badly beaten but survives then lets out everybody out? Thats when you gotta play defensive! unless you dont have a big brain, incase your dead.
Now this is how you portray woman empowerment, not with some dickhead girlboss attitude but with sheer determination and the willingness to not give up even when the odds are against the female protagonist
I was reading an Araki interview and he was explaining that a benefit of focusing on supernatural powers is that a character's shape will not dictate their true strength.
Was really hoping for some mini beat down or whatever, but a headbutt is unique, and I don’t think any of the other main Jojo’s have had one. I guess it also makes sense WHY because it’s symbolic in that though Jolyne’s muscles were all screwed up from the fight, her head was still in the game.

Dude most stand users don't even put themselves in most of their fights yet Jolyne out here is the one doing the kicking and punching and only using stone free to tie up her opponents why does almost no jojo characters do this crap??!!
Because their stands are overpowered, jolyne has one of the weakest stands so of course she needs to be smart and creative in using it. You can see the hard work she put in these fights more than other jojos
the stands are inside the users body so a normal punch from jolyne has her stand punch in it. It's like conquerors haki from one piece on the recent luffy vs kaidou episodes. It's just invisible because the stand is inside the body

Yeh right when that second meteor showed up, the theme straight up gets cut
Not bad for a guy who doesn't understand what he is at all!
Stone Free my man
No C is human strength
@@Alex_Fishman it's more about resilience, after all to have a stand one needs to have a fighter's spirit
best fight in stone ocean batch 2, change my mind. though batch 3 will have the coolest shit considering that it has the best portion of the part 6 manga.
stone free has A in strenght yet this guy that got damaged by a normal human was able to survive her stand.
@@UncleDaniel *a human that got boosted by survivor.
One of the best fights in part 6 and also one of the most violent 👍
2:48 who needs a stand when you have these hands
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger
Been waiting for this one
Okay, This is basically jolyne being very smart, if youu see a guard beating the shit out of somebody else, and he loses some of his skin, and getting badly beaten but survives then lets out everybody out?
Thats when you gotta play defensive!
unless you dont have a big brain, incase your dead.
More prison grappling than grappler baki's prison arc.
Hand to hand combat in jojo feels refreshing man, a bit of strength and force for once after those typical 400 IQ plays, cool.
Now this is how you portray woman empowerment, not with some dickhead girlboss attitude but with sheer determination and the willingness to not give up even when the odds are against the female protagonist
preach bro
2022 and Hollywood still get female empowerment wrong. Araki is ahead of the pack and did it right in 1999.
Empower women by having them fight in extremely brutal and gruesome battles!
I was reading an Araki interview and he was explaining that a benefit of focusing on supernatural powers is that a character's shape will not dictate their true strength.
u incels still find a way to ruin a whole scene
6:14 i actually loved it that he stopped her mid beat down. it adds some realism
6:08 that "ORA" is awesome
Was really hoping for some mini beat down or whatever, but a headbutt is unique, and I don’t think any of the other main Jojo’s have had one.
I guess it also makes sense WHY because it’s symbolic in that though Jolyne’s muscles were all screwed up from the fight, her head was still in the game.
LITERALLY
Jonathan used a headbutt against Dio and Dire in Part 1. Probably goes to show she takes more after him than the others
@@khadzomillentrius5109 Like the fact that she’s killed by the villain of her part? 😭
@@tranqle73 As much as I wish otherwise, yes😭
@@tranqle73 "Gentlemen have to fight even when they know they're going to lose" - Jonathan Joestar.
And then Jolyne do exactly that against MiH, the guy who just murdered her father and friends and that she had 0 chance of winning against, just to save Emporio.
Yeah, Jolyne is frekaing awesome, good thing her death was "reverted"
2:37 Trollge straight up possessed Dollar Store Giorno
Kinda felt bad for Westwood for some reason. He seemed like a pretty chill guy before getting enraged by survivor, makes me wonder if it was even Pucci's plan to have him kill Jolyne or if he had intended on him getting triggered by Survivor.
jolyene is the only jojo to fight WITH her stand and its AMAZING
Imagine seeing the aftermath of Survivor's effect in real life.
I think this is where people said jolyne somehow stepped into baki
Like a true Florida man, weatwood dont need his stand to fight
5:40 YESSSSS I LOVE IT, Jolyne physically deflecting and kicking the ass of someone way out of her weight class, I LOVE IT
I just realized when she ripped his toenail off it made a bottle opening sound LMAO
3:02 Holy shit they animated the ripples in the puddle from them landing that’s amazing
Man, its so good to see Jolyne grew up strong as a person. From helpless girl to full on fighter
I like this cut, it has the fight only while not cutting out every single frame of dialogue, making the fight feel like it got King Crimson all over it.
When she ate the mushrooms, it reminded of what Pucci said during their fight
Didn't know there's gonna be a " Lots of holes hair " Giorno in here
Planet Waves : Ey yo look at dat, fallin rocks
Westwood's broken right leg : Oohh I'm in extreme pain, but that's cooool
When I saw the outer space scene I remembered that Kars is still out there floating around 😂
this gotta be one of my fav battles in jojo
Indeed it is, blue meanie...😏😎👍
Has to be Jolyne most intense physical fight...
This fight.. reminds me of Jonathan Vs. Tarkus.
It would have been cool if Viviano Westwood was actual Tarkus descent .
Great great great grandpa Jonathan would be proud of his granddaughter’s ability to throw hands
Dang, Jolyne can take one hell of a beating.
Being head butted by stone ocean must really hurt look how ridged it's head its

THERE IT IS
THE PART 3 SOUNDTRACK
My favorite fist fight in jojo
This fight was so damn brutal. But it wasn’t even JJBA’s most brutal fight. Animated, anyway, Doppio VS Metallica is still crowned that, so far.
Nothing in that beat Jolyne's flaying of Westwood's foot though, imo.
@@GalekC I was thinking of that, actually. Ugh!
Jesus that was painful
Search for the toe scene in the manga and say that
@@ney_division5681 I’ll just take your word for it. I did say ‘animated, anyway’, just in case.
Dude most stand users don't even put themselves in most of their fights yet Jolyne out here is the one doing the kicking and punching and only using stone free to tie up her opponents why does almost no jojo characters do this crap??!!
Dio is somewhat like this with how he was after he drank Joseph’s blood
And she was under survivors effect so she has supernatural strength there anyways so she prob saw it better to combine both in that situation
@@sanimuhamad739 Weakest stand my ass Stone Free have A in strength! though stand stats is not the best way to measure the stands strength but counterpoint moody blues fought that man in the mirror guy and moody blues had C in strength I believe soooo
This is probably the biggest turning point for Jolyne. She had never been butchered quite this much in one fight, and if she didint fight and beat Westwood, i feel she never would have the determination and resolve to face Pucci.
That man is absolute unit, very tough one
The fucking toenail scene
Planet Waves is probably my favorite stand in terms of design. Its like a giant heart with the valves as its hair. Its a nice design. Sleek, simple, yet interesting.
That silver and blue hair color pallette looks so great
So we can deduce that with enough anger there's a possibility of beating a stand user.
this fight was fucking brutal, the toenail thing dude 💀
Araki doesnt get enough credit for this and while it is a fictional world, i really do enjoy how he depicted how screwed up the prison system (specifically the american prison system) is.
5:21 I see Jolyne has been taking lessons from Chun-Li
6:31 wahts the name of that ost?
5:48 if someone could tell me what this ost is called I’ll be eternally grateful. Also fantastic pose and counter!
Stone Ocean ost determination
Breaking news: Florida man literally too angry to die
4:05 if I didn't read the manga before watching the anime I would have thought this lady was a stand user
