I still remember when I first started fm in 2014 I was blown away by all the things I had to handle as a manager. I googled and learnt a lot of them. Did everything on my own without any AI assistance. Beat the game on my own man. And now I have not played the game for more than a year now. Just don't have the time anymore man. Good old times.
I’ve been watching FM videos (especially yours) for a while now but this year is the first year I’m fully playing it instead of fifa and I’ve been really enjoying it so far :) you’re 90% of the reason I’m starting so thanks for that
Thanks for this! I came across your videos a couple months ago and have taken the plunge and bought FM23 last week. Still getting the hang of it, but love nerding out.
A fun save experiment would be a father/son journey man career. You the manager are the father of a rising star. Pick an academy prospect to be your son and raise them to be one of the elite players. Whenever you move clubs you always bring your son with you. Would be fun to see what could be achieved with this save.
@@ToTheNines87368 I effectively have that save on FM23 PC where I made my nephew as a goalkeeper (my manager backstory was also a goal-scoring goalkeeper), but he takes every penalty unless if someone is on a hat-trick.
I played a lot as a kid in Champman and I think Football Manager 2005 (and LMA Manager 2003 on the gameboy)), and it is odd. I decided to start with Brighton for my first save because of transfer opportunity, interesting, and seemed a decent place to learn early about transfers within an already decent team. Want to get used to the game enough to do a Scarborough AFC save (and maybe a Fiorentina one) in the future.
Been playing on and off since the very first version on Amiga (I’m old). Every few years I stop playing completely and only buy every third version where you can see the incremental changes. It’s weird, I can just pick it up and don’t feel overwhelmed by much that’s new but this tutorial still has a couple gems in it. I cannot imagine what it’d be like for someone to start playing it now. The data hub is an interesting addition to compliment modern football and a tendency towards stats and data. Must admit in my Rochdale save (made playoffs when tipped to finish last) I only ever glance at it on rare occasions but that may change as I charge up the league. I’m enjoying the pace of this version.
Started playing fM in 2011 and this is the first FM I played since lol so much more in depth and it took me years to fully understand fm11. Seems to be the usual, don't say the wrong things to the press or your players... like praising them with a 6.00 match rating cus they made a good dribble and end your 20 win streak with a 10 lose streak cus your player lost focus with your praise lmao
I'm currently playing FM2014 and another way too keep players happy that you don't use enough but are cover for the first team or like me 2 years into my Bayern Munich save have a lot of okay, good or great promising youngsters that you don't have room for in the first team or your bench send them on loan when the transfer windows are open and make sure they get first team playing time and they will get better at the loaned club !!
i would say not to the save and reload tac if its your team, you support in real life. you should know the players at the team and where they play best
How would you do apply these tips to PS5 as on PS5 lots of these things you cant do. Is there anything I can do to get better using things that are on PS5?
Ok bro , i would like to ask something here, how can you make FM fun, coz with me if i pick a top team i win everything in 1 or 2 seasons and there is nothing left to play for so i lose interest in the game. If i pick a mid table team it would take me 3 or 4 years to do the same thing ie winning everything competition, if i pick a lower league , it would just delay the outcome which is winning everything eventually . Journeyman mode is also not fun after u win everything with a lot of clubs. Is there is a way to play FM like some sort of save which will have something to do even after playing it for a good period of time.
How do you get all the licensing! I want to get the game, but all the videos (besides you) Only have like the licensing for Man city! I really would like to play, so could you tell me how?
I play on Xbox as I don’t have a PC yet and for me the thing that irritates me and confuses me is the scouting system and getting good potential youth players come through the academy.
Delegate all media appearances, the questions barely change and get boring after a short while cos you can just give the same answers and it turns out to be a massive waste of time.
The game is being released later in the year on PlayStation, due to an error they didn’t elaborate on. When it does come I imagine it’d be similar to the Xbox version, which I use and I’d great. Fingers crossed for you!
BIGGES TTIP FROM ME IS TO GET REAL ISTIC WEATHER AND REALISTIC TRANSFER PREFRENCES always use MODS BECAUSE FM23 VANILLA IS C R AP there tons of mods make the game real like real balls ect
“Especially with the game coming to the PlayStation 5”, oooh probably should have edited that bit out Tom after today’s announcement the game is indefinitely delayed on the platform. Unless you left it in just to burn the console peasants.

Me too, now that I finally got a job, I didn't even learn to get badges and jerseys until this afternoon.

This save was much easier to set up on FM22 mobile because there is a button just to make them up.
Haha! Nice idea. Though as a teammate god I would hate that player.

How could I know if I’m overpaying a player? I spend a lot of money and i don’t know if its from over paying players or staff
i’ve been playing for 3 years now and this one i just can’t seem to win 😂😂😂
I pre-ordered FM23 on the PS5 about a week a go and they have just refunded me (4/11/22) the full amount.. has this happened to anyone else? :(

Oh well, if it doesn't come out by end of November then I may as well give it a miss for this year and eagerly await next season.
Why is there no dynamics on Xbox
Because the console and mobile versions of the game are stripped down and have a lot fewer features.
BIGGES TTIP FROM ME IS TO GET REAL ISTIC WEATHER AND REALISTIC TRANSFER PREFRENCES always use MODS BECAUSE FM23 VANILLA IS C R AP there tons of mods make the game real like real balls ect
How to delete saves in Mobile??
make champion league without the 5 major leagues in europe
Yea chief, about that PS5 release...
Is this enough to not get relegated in the polish league
