This is such a beautiful route! In April 2017, my wife and I drove this from Moab all the way through Cisco to I-70 east into Colorado. Still one of my favorite scenic routes in Utah!
Wife and I are speechless. Great scenery, but wonderful commentary and musical choices as well. Thank you so much and please don't ever stop making these.
One of my favorite scenic highways! I have another video of this same highway, but heading in an opposite direction and hugging alongside the river. I thoroughly enjoyed both drives.
Great Video...been there 2014, 2016 an will come back in september...love moab...so Utah and Colorado...thanks for sharing this and all your other videos...they are amazing...greetings from germany... :-)
Exactly! I would imagine heading westbound would be even more spectacular as the road gradually winds into the canyon, not to mention having the Colorado River on the right side of your car almost the whole time.
Rafted that stretch of the Colorado a few times from Fisher Towers back toward Moab. I love that road because it was built following the land. They didn't grade everything and flatten it, the road rises and falls with the land and it just feels so much more alive and organic. It's so much fun to drive and stunningly beautiful. That initial part of the canyon, on the right at the top of the cliffs overhead is the world famous Slick Rock Bike trail. Has a number of overlooks from the top. There's also a VERY difficult and high classed trail DOWN the cliffs to the canyon road. Ran into a video of it once and it's pretty crazy. Have been a few deaths.
Excellent job showing off the grandeur of this place; dramatic orchestral music works excellent with this type of ride. Enjoyed your presentation very much Hansel
Damn, that was nothing short of spectacular. I've driven by along I-70 on nearly a dozen occasions now...never bothered to see what's off the interstate. Well, that's going to change, next time I'm out there. Fantastic work!
Thank you, Sir. I guess the Interstates, by design, are supposed to bypass many of these scenic "obstacles." Sometimes, a little detour can really go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.
Thanks for the wonderful memories. We drove the route ( Westbound) a few years ago and it was absolutely amazing. We have been loving your Grand Circle tour, looking forward to the next episode.
When I was young I saw a Skoal advertisement in a magazine of the Colorado river winding through this valley with Fisher Towers and the La Sals in the background. I searched for years to find that location and it was worth the search. Many a John Wayne movie filmed in this area. Love the tours.
I commented to my wife that I feel like I'm stuck in hell (central Florida - too poor to move or do anything and few options available because of health and bigotry) and that videos like this makes the computer screen seem like a window out of hell onto beauty for short periods. Thanks for that break from reality!
Incredible videos I feel as you are in a car or truck. Wife and I are doing it all next year on our trike will continue to view all so I have an idea thank you
This is still one of my favorite scenic highways to date! By the way, I have another video of this same highway, but heading in the opposite direction. Feel free to check it out if you need.
Having watched a few of your videos, I think I'm now starting to understand why my grandparents always went down to southern Utah every Spring. Now I want to go there (of course, I'd NEVER do it in the heat of summer, no way!)
There is a large crowd of people in summer too! Speaking of spring, I have never done a long road trip in spring. I can only imagine the mild weather and much less crowded parks. Sure sounds like an ideal time for a road trip!

It is on the list of places to drive with the top down!!

Driving this road results in sensory overload so much staggering beauty hard to take it so all in
Wow!
Another great video. So with that suspension bridge, is it just the main deck that burned down but they've kept the towers and cables standing?
Yea, it seems so. When I was there, I did not actually notice the damage at all. I became aware of the fire incident as I was editing the video.
Is this same place where western movie were short.
What car do you drive bro?
Uh oh... Someone did not watch the ending credit... Lol. Are you asking my car in the video? It was 2007 Kia Spectra.
+American Roads I was watching untill 15:00 lol my bad😅
