Beware of unusual coyote activity in that area! They have been seen ,
    Carrying large boxes marked Acme,
Dropping anvils from hot air balloons,
    Offering free bird seed,
And launching themselves from giant crossbows!
Another stunning video Cat! Just magnificent!🏜⛰🏜🌵🌵

I’ve only traveled to Moab once, and that was with my parents and my husband. It was beautiful beyond words. Since then, all 3 of them have gone to Heaven and it brings such a lump in my throat to see pictures and videos of that area, even though I love it. I suppose that’s normal. Does anyone else experience these feelings?

Good morning, Catherine! I think you have convinced me to move to St. George. It's so incredibly beautiful there. I used to drive 18-wheelers out of Salt Lake City and deliver food products throughout the Southwest and to San Antonio. St. George was my favorite breakfast stop. When you stood on the rock overlooking Dead Horse Point and spread your "wings" it reminded of the same feeling I experienced on that rock years ago...the magic and the majesty of the incredible view of wild nature. You shared it with your wonderful photography skills but there's nothing like actually being there to experience it with all of your senses. If you stand there, take it all in you cannot help but spread your wings and for a silly moment you feel like you could fly. Thank you for sharing!

Greetings! In 1986, I decided to do a solo trip thru all of the 5 Parks in Utah. To say it felt like another world is an understatement: it was more like several different worlds, all equally amazing in different ways! My favorites? Bryce Canyon, Zion, Canyonlands, Arches and Capitol Reef, in that order! Throw in Cedar Breaks National Monument, and Canyon De Chelly NM as a side trip on the way back to Flagstaff, and I don't think I've ever had a more awe-inspiring glimpse of Mother Natures' handiwork!!! (Except, of course, for The Grand Canyon, but that's a one-off!). Hope you have an incredible trip and see as much as possible! You inspire us all!!!!!

Beautiful job, Catherine. One of my favorite areas on the world. I’m based in Durango area for half the year just for the incredible variety of topography from the Rocky Mountains to the red rock country of AZ and UT. Its a blast to fly over to Monument Valley and get down low weaving between the tall buttes, then continue north over Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point to Moab and Arches, then back to Durango along the LaPlata’s. The scenery is just mind blowing. I love exploring this part of the USA. 👍🇺🇸

    Catherine...
Good morning beautiful. How are you?? I couldn't agree with you more. The drive is a big part of the adventure for me as well.
I'm watching this video while outside this morning. I'm at Saylorville Lake watching the birds. The migration is in full swing right now. The white pelicans are starting to arrive. I've counted eleven species of ducks so far this morning. And believe it or not. We even get a few different species of gulls here in Iowa. Not to mention the song birds are filling the trees along the lake shore. Beautiful!!!
How do you like Moab?? I was last there in '91. Took my '88 Chevette on several of the jeep trails. I still remember the looks of disbelief from people in their four wheel drive trucks when they would top some of those hills and I was sitting there in my little car. Priceless.
Well I'm going to head back up the bank to my truck now. I'm going to make my famous banana bread French toast for breakfast when I get back home. I recieved some new coffees last week I'm anxious to try as well. They smell so good. And yes, I grind my own beans.
Safe travels sweetheart. Looking forward to seeing where your headed to next. Love you.

What a magnificent part of the country is Southern Utah, especially Moab. Back in 2013 I took my Toronto friend who was visiting me in Calgary and we drove for 22 hrs. We departed Calgary at 4 am arriving to our Moab Airb&b at 2:30 am to tour all the national and state parks in Southern Utah. I am sure if we had driven straight through we could have made it there in half the time but as photographers we took our time and we would stop wherever we pleased ... as you say, it's all part of the adventure and this one certainly was. Your adventure brought back many wonderful memories. Wishing you safe travels.

Love Moab! We spent three weeks exploring there several years ago and can’t wait to go back. We tent camped on BLM land along the Colorado river for two of those weeks. Even though it was 110 degrees out, the River water was FREEZING COLD! The only dislike I had was every afternoon the wind came through the canyon and blew our tent over. It ROARED like a freight train! We got used to sitting in our vehicle while it blew. Then cleaning up the sand all through the tent, sleeping bags and clothes.

Thank you for taking the time and care that you obviously do to put together these beautiful videos. This one is especially meaningful for me - my family (2 young boys at the time and my wife) would take camping trips to the Moab area each spring and fall. We usually camped south of Moab on BLM land until it became very crowded and restricted in terms of where you were able to camp. But it's a wonderful base to use to explore the area. Arches National Park, Canyonlands (including The Needles), La Salle Mountains, the Colorado River, and much more are all fairly close by.
Though it's been years since I've been back, my now-grown sons continue to visit the area with their families and soak in the beauty and make their own memories. Thanks again for sharing your visit to this treasured area.

Dead Horse SP is awesome... I'm really glad that someone told me about it. Fittingly, it was a chair lift conversation on Park City's Tombstone lift during a blizzard.

I came across Moab a few years ago while wandering across the internet; it's something about the name itself that makes me want to visit; now that I see this, the desire to visit has increased even more. I've added Moab to my notes.

Cat, we can your sense the joy of you being back west. What makes your videos amazing is your professional eye captures the scenery like very few can, yet it is an intimate personal journey you allow us to be a part of. Great way to start my Sunday morning.

I looove that area. One of the best vacations we've had was in the Moab area 2 years ago. We bought a booklet in the bookstore that gave driving directions and information about many ancient petroglyphs and petrographs in the area. That was really a highlight. I recommend that to future travelers. Online resources abound on this. Stunning images, as usual, Catherine. Thank you!

Good morning Catherine! First of all, thank you for taking me along with you! Secondly, you have inspired me to take the trip to Moab. I have always just passed through Utah on my way to somewhere else (no disrespect to Utah). Seems like I have missed much. Once again, you've captured my heart with your videos. I so look forward to much more of your travels. I am partially disabled (challenged), but I will get to Moab anyway. Thanks for the inspiration! Love you, be safe. As always, you are in my prayers.
