- Finally!! Farrier rasp knife part 2!! This was a long time coming. Thank you all for your patience. In this video, I'm working on the handle and unfortunately I messed up the first one... So it as a redo. I'm glad thought, as my second handle turned out much better than my first one.
By no means am I a knife maker, I carve wooden spoon for a living. But this project was a lot of fun! Thank you all for watching.

The work was excellent, the knife is beautiful, and its maker is also beautiful. I bless you for this the job
@youyoyouyo1407 thank you 😊
I love the blade profile. Recessing the bolster into the handle is an idea that I may " borrow" in the future. 😊
Great work!

Nice work
Just a couple of tips to help you along
-When grinding hard oily woods always use a new belt and lubricate the belt with WD40 also keep a soft piece of plastic near by to run on the belt and unclog d the rubber ones don't work well with oily wood.
-learning strip sanding will advance your handle finishing helping you create more subtle contours
-taper your pin hole (if you don't already) and swell the pins don't peen them over.
-Try and get a small wheel attachment for your grinder
@@DivingSparrow thanks for the tips!
Parabéns e saudações do Brasil!
I burn most of my handles in. Mostly because I’m lazy.
