I cheated the system for book report in like 2nd grade. The book was like a plants vs zombies book. It had pictures and information about the plants. So every week I just drew a plant, copied the info, and turned it in :D

For the past couple spring break days, me and my lil' sis would do pretend school, complete with a DIY chalkboard. And so far I have gathered she is good at math (like really good for her age) and did NOT like reading 😂
My elementary school had Battle of the books as well or B.O.B. it was called. Unlike James our school had it divided into groups of four and where assigned two books per member. After two months of reading we'd go up against other teams to see who can answer questions about the book the fastest and if you got the answer correct you'd get points. It was like a game show but with facts form the books. The team with the most points ,moves up in the bracket (similar to March Madness) and the last team standing gets a prizes and and pizza party.
I remember having to read Charlottes Web like 5 times because of B.O.B.

I had a speech impediment when I was a kid. I couldn’t say two consonants after each other and I couldn’t say R or L. Luckily I could speak normally when I was about seven years old, but I had to go to a specialist daily for years before I finally got it. Never had a problem reading or writing though. I was actually pretty good at it, but not that good with the English language.
I remember when I was 6, at least three times a week, I used to practice saying feather and paper with my mom. The reason why I remember this, is because I used to get so pissed about it that my mom would give me a stick of gum or candy every 30 minutes I wouldn't start crying over my speech impediment. I stopped those lisp lessons after I could say, "Paper and pencils are good, but feathers and birds are AWESOME" at least three times in a row correctly. The reason why it was that sentence specifically was because she had me make up my own sentence with at least two words with the sound "-er" in them. I liked birds

So i remember, in my school, we would have a spelling bee contest every year and last year i was one of the 3 students in my class that got all of the words spelled correctly (Also i have no idea how i spelled each word right because i suck at spelling, bet i misspelled a word in this comment) i was so nervous for the day we had to spell words in front of the whole flippen school. Well turns out one of the kids who also got all the words correct in the whole class had to transefer and the other kid who was a replacement for the kid who transefered and was supposed to go with me to the spelling bee contest had came to school late! I was mad at him for leaving me alone to embarrace myself in front of everyone and he had nothing to worry about. I ended up messing up in the 3rd word not knowing we could restart the word so once i noticed i messed up i just gave up and messed up the rest of the word.
