If tonewood is all marketing BS than why do Hollowbody/semi-hollow body guitars exist? Since by the same logic, hollow body guitars shouldn't have much or any impact on sound/tone. And I'm asking this as a genuine question towards people that argue against tonewood.

I am grateful that people who have a passion for something can sometimes turn that thing into a good living. Andy’s story is great, and Taylor guitars are also great.

What you had to say about Adam Savage is how I felt about you. Seeing you talk about ADHD in a very real and raw manner helped me come to terms with my own struggles. I remember telling my girlfriend about how one of my favorite creators was just like me.

10:00 100% , it ain't mojo, its just grime that as mentioned will not only make a fret job harder, is probably aiding corrosion and abrasion and shorter fret life

I always love hearing the passionate "Makers" in the guitar industry talk. That's why all my favorite episodes of tone talk are the ones where they talk to other passionate builders like Mike Soldano, John Suhr, Steve Fryette, Lindy Fralin, Jon Cusack, or MJ from Seymour Duncan. Some of them are legends, and some of them are hardly known too. It's funny that the more you go down the acoustic rabbit hole you realize how complicated they are.

OK well I sure learned a lot during that episode! What a great guy. I'm biased ... finally invested in a higher end acoustic and it's a Taylor (517 in my case). Every Taylor I've ever played, across the range, have all been great guitars. Never played a bad one.

Ya’ll should name the studio Muscle Shulls.
Not only as an obvious tribute the iconic Alabama studio, but also an acknowledgment of all the hard work (hence: muscle) it took to put the thing together.
    Plus it’s at Rhett’s house so…it’s “Shull’s”.

Ya gotta cut the homey, cuddley, … I expected Andy Powers, my hero, to be taking tone wood. Come on! People know both of you guys. People love both of you guys. I love both of you guys. Take a closer look at what your intentions are. Do that. Move on. Save the other, quite lengthy, stories for the family barbecue. Good luck, Fellas!

Sorry Rhett, but I disagree, if it doesn't matter to them (the deniers) then it doesn't matter end of story? That is fallacy, because they come on here and FIGHT with us that KNOW how tonewoods work. IT WOULD NOT MATTER IF THEY DID NOT FIGHT US OVER THIER ERROR!!!!!!!! And this mans argument/statement about the subject is PROVEN FACT, not opinion, so his statements stand as TRUTH in this matter!! Well done.
