    This tutorial covers the 3 stopmodes of the RC-300 Loopstation.
    The Stopmodes extend the possibilites of the looper.
    The song I use for the demonstration is "Breakfast at Tiffanys" by Deep Blue Something.
    I hope you like it!

    Another great rc300 lesson, clear, straightforward and something Boss themselves should be more active in. Keep up the good work

      Oh so true! It took me so much time to find it all out. And sometimes it was so frustrating! The fact, that boss doesn't provide more practical information and tipps was my motivation to share my experience with you.

    Very helpful! I’ve been watching all your videos to learn how to use my loop station to it’s full potential and as quickly as possible. I understand how to use it so much better now! Thanks so much for the tutorials! Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼 I can’t wait to make a video with it, instead of just me and my guitar...and now I can 😊

    Great tutorial. This shows exactly what I want to do as most of my stuff involves verse and chorus and maybe a middle 8.

    Good one, thanks. If you don't need the drums running all the time or use the drum machine of the RC-300, you can use single track play mode, so you don't have to stop the tracks manually. I'd love to be able to set single track mode on track basis instead of memory basis. I would be great to have tracks 1 and 2 run simultaneously with track 3 but not with each other. This is, however, not possible (or at least I think so).

    • @LoopsunlimitedDe
      @LoopsunlimitedDe  6 лет назад

      I think so too. I think there are a lot of great ideas. But I don't see any progress in the firmware. Sadly....

    Hi thanks for the lesson .When you press to stop track 2 it waits until the end of the loop . Fine. But when you wanna play track 2 it goes into effect immediately. even if you press it couple of beats earlier it starts playing. Is there a way to avoid that? I mean when i press play ( off time) i want it to wait until when its supposed to start not as soon as I start playing. Thank you

    Hi- thanks for the info. Regarding your external drum- if you want to have that pattern on all of your channels (1,2 & 3), do you have record the pattern 3 separate times? Thanks-

    Hi. Great videos. They have been a real help to me, so thank you very much. I have a question that's driving me crazy with the RC 300. How do I record loops without them being synchronized to the internal rhythm box? If you ca help I would very much appreciate it. Thanks again.

    • @LoopsunlimitedDe
      @LoopsunlimitedDe  6 лет назад

      First you need not select a rhythm in advance. Then you can record free. After the recording of the first loop, the loopstation will try to calculate a temp for you and the LEDs will blink in the rhythm. But you can ignore it. If you do not switch on any rhythm it shouldn't do any harm.

      Thanks for the reply. However I till don't get it. I have tried but cannot get it working as I want. Any chance you could make a quick video to help out. Thanks in advance. Dez.

  • @Urlauber

    Awesome Video! Another thing in my toolbox to improve my looping abilities :) It would be great if you could make a video to help users of the RC300 to record their songs while playing live. I have not figured out how to connect my RC300 with the computer to do live recordings so that the voice that I am singing over the tracks is recorded. The USB connection only allows using the RC300 as a hard drive and take down the individual tracks. Could you give some information on this? That would be great. And thank you for all these videos, they help a lot :)

    • @LoopsunlimitedDe
      @LoopsunlimitedDe  5 лет назад

      Hmm. That is a tricky question. It depends on your setup. When you are using the RC-300 as a live tool, you wont be able to use it for recording at the same time. I record my perfomrances within the mixing console. I use a Beringer X Air to bring it all together. The XAIR provides the function to record the output in stereo. (Not multitrack!)
      The "bigger" XAIR can provide multichannel too, but I do not have one, so I didn't try.

    How do you actually change the stop modes?

    • @LoopsunlimitedDe
      @LoopsunlimitedDe  5 лет назад

      You find it in the settings of each track. Press the "edit" button for each track, and move with the cursor right key until the display shows "stop mode"
