Sounds like a reasonable explanation, but I'm going to post what I told @ridingonruby: Well, here's the thing...the cat food is stored in our attached garage which is 100 feet or so from where the big garage is located...we have other food in this building and there's no evidence of any rodents in here...Plus, we have four cats, outdoors, and so we don't even see any mice or evidence of them...it's just very strange...there are plenty of other crevices and places to hide cat food (assuming it was a mouse or mice) in the big garage and we have not found one piece of cat food anywhere else...so I'm still blaming one of the brothers!! 😂😂😂

I average mid to high 30s and never use eco mode. We have found that occasionally on trips Carly has gotten over 40 on some of our long trips on her Ryker
Well, we still haven't found out who the "cat" burglar was lol...interesting on your mileage...maybe mine will go from 37 to 40...I have 8500 miles on it so far...it's been 37 mpg since day 1...that's great Carly is getting such fantastic mileage on her Ryker!
