Yep, this motovlogger named Purple On Three talked to me about that when she first had her grip wraps wired directly to the battery...she could not remember to turn them off, lol, so they are rewired too! 😅😅😅

Need some grease on that uniform. We love all the mods. I love it centered up it looks more factory. We mainly use the cell phone in the centerof the bars, but on occasion have to break out the GPS to get signal.Looks Good.
I'll remember the grease next time I have on my coveralls...I'm thinking I'll put them on for every mod...kind of like Mr. Rogers or something lol...It's good we have GPS that doesn't require cell service! 😅🤗💜
Once again, You Go Girl!!!! We like to make things our own!!! Between you and me, I truly prefer the F3 to the RT’s. Better seating position, and I feel it’s a better looking machine, also the side radiator’s are better. Why? Check out almost any RT you see and they are full of stuff, bugs, and other things. My 2012 RT Ltd has a built in munt for the GPS in between the handlebars where you've placed yours the terminals and connections are all there all you have to do it seat the GPS in the mount and it works fine. The one thing you have to remember is to take the GPS out of the bracket when you park somewhere or else it might not be there when you come back. I don't like to many things on my handlebars. Seems like a lot has to be disassembled when installing it. I suppose it is a one off thing. Thanks for showing us all your mods.
Thank you, Roger! Yes, I have a system...if both of us have to be away from the bikes, cameras and gps get locked up. I like a cleaner look as well, though you wouldn't know it from my camera set up lol
you could also use a longer Ram connector which would allow you to position the GPS even lower to help see signal lights and still have access to the ignition key.
I didn't know they came longer... I'm not sure that would work though because then we would have the GPS probably right over the gas cap. I need the key to open the gas cap and you can see how big my key is lol 😅.... Hey guess what? I found one of your stickers and I found the spot for it in my frunk! 🤗💜

Spyder garage and an outfit! I luv it. Looks like a good setup. I added one of those locks so the gps so its stop it from walking off., but its a pain to take off due to the location. I miss being able to take it GPS to add stuff.

I've thought about the Ram ball setup on Tango, and also adding the GPS. I think I want to put some lights on Tango first, after the Sway Bar upgrade, though.
I got my Garmin XT2 from Lamonster Garage, but I have the mount that replaces the handlebar bracket. Not moveable like the Ram mount setup, but it’s right where it needs to be - low and clear of the display.

Well, that's a good question! My new one is much smoother! And it has the stock shocks...when I had the air bag and suspension issue, I was thinking I should have kept Spyder Girl since she never let me down! I have only ridden 10,000 miles on my new one...that's a much lower year for mileage for me, but this has been a year of recovery for me...so ....maybe ask me next year! lol

One thing I bought for my XT2 is a lock plate. When I have my Spyder out and leave it unattended, the lock plate ensures it won't walk away.

Which do you like better, Spyder Girl or the one that you now have?
Well, that's a good question! My new one is much smoother! And it has the stock shocks...when I had the air bag and suspension issue, I was thinking I should have kept Spyder Girl since she never let me down! I have only ridden 10,000 miles on my new one...that's a much lower year for mileage for me, but this has been a year of recovery for me...so ....maybe ask me next year! lol

How is the new Spyder treating you?
All good except for that little "suspension fault" issue that caused me to lose 3 weeks of riding time....up here in Pennsyltucky, that's huge lol
