I didnt make it to the protest - we were unfortunately busy this weekend. Looked a good turn out though hope it has some impact. This video, however, was originally about 22mins long and had me ranting and moaning about a few things that have been playing on my mind recently, including the Dartmoor camping hearing. Just rewatching it it felt noisy and I decided to just cut everything out. It felt like the right time for me to upload this video, a breath of fresh air in amidst a week of noise and confusion! Plus, to be honest, when I log into RUclips I see hundreds of videos on the subject and dont feel that I have got anything new to add.
Hi' Trev I love your channel iv'e just subscribed as I like your content it's very informative . Having watched your vlogs it has inspired me to once more take up hiking at the age of 60 'I'm now going to do Ben Nevis and Scar Fell but in between i'm doing all the county tops in the south from Cornwall to Hampshire not all at the same time though. As i know you like travelling maybe this is something you could do (just a suggestion ) Keep up the good work
Did you call my wife last night. She thought she’d heard that heavy breathing before . Nice video. It’s a great feeling walking in solitude and not trying to find somewhere to camp. Thanks
Thanks. I live right next to it and struggled to get up as much as I'd liked last year. Makes it all the better when you finally do reach it though. Cheers for watching!
Morning Trev! Perfect timing, we both saw and admired your social media posts. We are looking forward to this hike out! Looks like ideal conditions to be out and great to freeze the cobwebs off, watching along now. Hope you are well, Ceri and Kat ❤️ 🛶 ☕️ 👍 🧭
Beautiful, Trev! I enjoyed seeing and hearing what your new camera can capture. A one off, perhaps but worth the opportunity with the snow. Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing more from you soon. :-)
Hi Trev, I hope you're keeping well matey. Sounds like you burnt off some of that frustration and jarring that you've obviously been carrying, so good for you bud! Just being up on the north moor amongst those glorious tors, especially in the snow and the with the sun out, is enough to bring calmness to body, mind and soul. Nice decision to buy a new camcorder Trev, you're proper old school with the camcorders and I for one love 'em! Go Pros can go and.....lol ! The quality of picture from your new camcorder looks great and I hope the zoom ability lives up to your old Panasonic (RIP!). Thanks for posting out this one, even though you Trev'd up the timing of the release 😂! Take it easy Trev, and don't be too hard on yourself and fret too much in advance to posting out new stuff. You have a loyal following who love and appreciate you for who you are, so hang onto that and follow your joy. Cheers, Pete 👍
@Summit Or Nothing got to say i live 20 min drive from peak district and until I started watching your channel recently I always thought dartmoor was a flat featureless moorland. I now know its far from that and it has many amazing tors and some fantastic rocky outcrops and high points with great views much like the peak district. So thank you for that I will be looking at trying to get a week down there to explore at some point 👍
Gorgeous scenery as always, beautiful weather and views! Long may it continue, indeed long must it continue.... Get the views of farmers and landowners who have to suffer the mess and danger of the stupid irresponsible people... but don't get how really rich people are now being paid by the national park to allow wild camping...how fked up is that ( or was it a conspiracy thing all along??)
Yea, all sounds a bit suspicious. Wouldn't be surprised if they had been advised all along to take this course of action for their desired end result. Tory councils advise wealthy landowners all the time to remove hedgerows from greenbelt land on the basis of drainage issues, and then once they are under a certain hedge size they are no longer protected and can be built on, so, yea, they know how to play it.
Did you make it to the protest march in Cornwood yesterday? Surprised you haven't made a video about the whole Darwall court ruling.
I was just about to ask Trev about that

Some quality footage here. Dartmoor is truly beautiful!
It certainly is, Steve!
Love this video. And you know me. Anything involving a trig point is a big plus.
All the best.
What a stunning presentation my friend! Landscapes are literally breathtaking here, outstanding piece of content!
Thank you very much, really glad that you enjoyed it, cheers

Hahah! Yea - I better watch that I may get recognised lol. Cheers for watching, Jon!
Very good presentation of snowy Dartmoor 😊👍
Did you call my wife last night. She thought she’d heard that heavy breathing before . Nice video. It’s a great feeling walking in solitude and not trying to find somewhere to camp.
Thanks
I was wondering how long it would be before someone recognised my heavy breathing lol. Was a good little trek, well needed too.
Beautiful scenery. Not had as much snow as other place in my neck of the woods. Would love to get out for hike in some when I get the chance.
I usually miss it, myself, Piero, so been lucky this year. A camp and a hike.
Yeah crunching snow always bring on that ASMR feeling
It certainly does.
Brilliant. Just what I needed

Lovely walk on Dartmoor Trev, If only I lived closer, but I will be wild camping there again very soon. Cheers mate.
Thanks. I live right next to it and struggled to get up as much as I'd liked last year. Makes it all the better when you finally do reach it though. Cheers for watching!

Nice one Trev. You must have walked miles back and forth fetching the camera. Thanks for all that effort! Really showed the beauty of Dartmoor.
Haha... yeah, those RUclips miles soon add up. Hopefully worth it though.
Beautiful.
Thanks Jeannette

Cheers Chris. Saw your pics, looked a great camp mate!

It actually seemed strange to see you without a backpack. 😂😂Beautful scenery
I didnt expect to have such a big walk, regretted not having a drink on me by the end.

Cheers Taff!

Glad you liked it!
No snow in Pembrokeshire mi friend. Send some are way 😃😃👍🇬🇧
It's usually us that watch the rest of thw country cavorting in the snow whilst we sit under rain.
@@SummitOrNothing 🤣🤣🤣 same here mate 👍
Boom! 💪
You look forlorn in this Trev. Like you'd had a row with the missus and f..... off outta the way 😉
Haha... First walk in months, took it out of me.
I think think this video sums up the recent madness of the court case, loads of open land that belongs to the many not the few
Yeah, it's an absurd world we live in.

@@TeaInValhalla it doesn’t get any better than that, I just made him tea and toast and hopefully he feels a little better after that and a nap

HE’S NOT THAAAATTTT UGLY!
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks K

The early bird got the worm!! I was up all night with a pukey baby badger 🤮🥹 so I will take my place in 14th 😂
