Amazing color combination, red, dark blue, indigo! And the close-up frames under the surface are insane, revealing breathtaking shapes of abstract art. Amazed!
i must admit, watching your vids made me develop an impulse to try out a planted tank. we just set up a basic 10gallon nano tank to start out and i’m never going artificial again, we love it!
Just be careful lol I started watching MD three years ago and I started with one planted tank....now I have 5 and the people at Ocean Floor (my fish shop) know me by first name lol
MD, I’ve been inspired by you to have my own tank for our family. I had a 10 gal as a kid, and I missed it. WE have a wonderful 15” cube tank that we all love to watch. Thanks again for your dedication to the hobby. I have n idea that I think everyone would love. Setup a live camera set on 1 tank and leave it live for the day, so that we can all enjoy your tanks. You could change it daily to have a feature tank of the day. I would have it on it the background as I work throughout the day. Thanks again for your enthusiasm for the craft.
I would watch but I’m not sure how much revenue that would bring in but it would be cool. Maybe make it available to your members and then tease the general public for a one day a month
Video playlist idea: I loved how peaceful and relaxing the end of this video was. You could make short videos like this as updates for old tanks. Do a quick intro on what tank you are showing and the rest can simply be fish and music. I always wonder how the fish are looking in some of the oldest tanks and I think this might be an easy way for everyone to see and have something relaxing to watch.
Thanks for the cinematic at the end. Even longer would be wonderful. It lets us get to spend some time enjoying the tanks. Of course we LOVE the build. The results are marvelous and getting to linger a little longer appreciating them is a balm.
I like this because it showed the slow development of the plants and the way you achieved your vision over a long time. More like this showing the way to 'grow' the tank would be great.
I always love your tank builds. The humor between you and Matt is a big bonus. I finally ordered a T-shirt with the acara on it. Really looking forward to getting it, and seeing the 8ft tank when it's ready. ❤
Love the content, this one turned out great! **Idea - film some of your tanks so we can just play them in the background. I can't afford a tank at the moment but I love watching your tank as a stand in while I save up. Just put a series of them on a loop and instant amazing fish tank!
@@MDFishTanksyou can always try trimming it to flow with the hard scape and see how it looks! With how quick those plants probably grow I’m sure you can grow it into the red wall again in no time if you don’t like it lol
wow jus wow , i know a lot of credit goes to the co2 system for those colours , but this tank reminded me of the lush green tank you set up long back for the neons , well done md as as usual ✨
MD the tank looks beautiful. All those red makes it look amazing. Keep up the great work yourself and Matt make a great team. All the tags are looking beautiful. See you in the next one.
Hi MD, i begin fish keeping becauce of your video, already 5 months, and i really really love this video, its my dream fish tank, already watch 5 times, and i keep watching
Most planted tanks end up green. It's always great to see a scape, which is different colour. I wondered when this video would come up, seeing the tank in other videos. :)
Just an idea, but this reminded me that i always wanted to see a fall themed aquarium. With yellow, orange, and red plants + lots of small leaves at the floor
And by the way - on the 10th of February it'll be the year of the the wood dragon, according to the Eastern zodiac. That marvellous piece of wood really looks perfect to make a celebration of that - makes me think happily of Yat, the wonderful "sister" I got to welcome into my home the year she spent as an exchange student here with me. I seriously love this scape! ❤
I would watch an hour of soft music playing while you just did a bunch of clips of your tanks. So beautiful! Also, maybe put on screen the spelling of some of the plants so I can pause and write it down?
Hi, Ive painted my room walls in a very dark blue and my aquariums stand out even more than the white walls background, yours would look amazing, give it a try , best transformation !
This tank isn't my favorite, but I like that MD tries new things and what matters is what YOU like💚 Plus, as with gardening, your tastes will almost certainly change over the years, which is great because there is always something new to explore. I have kept all kinds of fish but have never done planted tanks, so I like to see the variety shown on this channel. I liked the original idea of using a few really large rocks (like 3 times bigger) + short red plants and I would have gone with a contrasting color fish, but that's just me. The reason I watch the channel is the lovely personalities of MD and Matt - they are just so pleasant and relaxing that you want to have a pint with them. I suggest they open an aquarium gallery/pub. Tanks all along the walls and in islands, with couches and tables to drink at. With the revenue they can take vacations to snorkel on tropical reefs and in freshwater rivers and film the biotopes 💚💚I can dream, can't I? Thank you for the long relaxing shots at the end of the tank and feesh. I would love to see update videos on the tanks with shots like that. All the best from Washington state, USA. 🤗 FROG is so brilliant. ❤❤
Take a look for Odessa barbs. they are a great smaller fish that are red and pretty. love the tank. should try a red on half and green on the other to see which grow faster

Anyway I can’t wait to see how this beautiful tank develops. Cheers for another great watch.
Love the content! For that middle tank on the shelf you should go with a tank that is very prominently rock/wood or at least majority grey or brown in color. A neutral colored tank in between the vibrant red and vibrant green would look phenomenal all in a row. Or is there no middle tank? LOL I may have imagined it... working and watching can be hard.

Going down to Ludwigia town boys!
Amazing color combination, red, dark blue, indigo! And the close-up frames under the surface are insane, revealing breathtaking shapes of abstract art. Amazed!
Video 8 of asking for a tank with some freshwater dolphinfish please.
The raised driftwood was a great shout and the red theme is stunning. But that guppy tank next door is easily one of my fave scapes.

There should be an MD scraps shop for all of the grown out plants - lol!
You’re the man !!! I’m so glad you did this! Nobody else has even thought of this !!
This is probably my favorite scape and stocking combination. It looks so healthy and brilliant.

Just made a similar comment before I saw yours. I love how relaxing the closing shots are on his videos.
WOW, beautiful RED tank - it took weeks of patience, and it paid off big time :) Thank you :)
A red betta would make an amazing addition to your red tank too. I can imagine him swimming around and showing off his gorgeous fins.
I'm so happy to see this. I always knew the first tank that I do will be full red, and this looks absolutely gorgeous!
Another incredible scape. Looks stunning MD and Matt.
Would have loved to see it trimmed to flow with the hard scape. The hard scape get lost in the plants. Beautiful none the less. Love the videos MD
I was going to do this...but I just loved the wall of red 😂😂

Lovely tank! It’s like an under water magical fantasy forest. ❤
I’ve been wanting to do an all pink tank for forever and this is motivating me
Wow, that turned out fantastically! Beautiful red scape, I love it. I feel like I could do something like this. Thanks for the video!
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the manzanita. The red is so vibrant! Favorite for sure!
I love a red planted tank and this one is outstanding...great way to end the last 3 minutes
This is one of my favourite fish tanks ever. Not really sure why, I just find it absolutely amazing
That’s a beautiful red tank! I love the tree in it and wish I had room for a large tank.
Beautiful, best tank 2024 so far.

Very striking tank MD especially with the contrast of the green tank next to it.
It reminds me of War of the Worlds but much nicer☺💙🐡🐟🐠
Love the red plants and the orange shrimp great set up
I requested another full red tank and you have delivered! So excited.❤❤❤

Crazy timing, i'm in the middle of doing an all red scape myself. Cheers for the inspo!
Your vids always help with my anxiety. Thanks MD ❤
That’s just brilliant! Great idea!
I just picked up a 40 gallon breeder tank this weekend, making 8 tanks I've got up and running. MTS is real. Lol.
That is awesome! You should experiment with some of the white plants that Matt had. Amazing job as usual.
So red, so beautiful ❤

Maybe green neon rasbora would look good in your tank too
What a lovely Martian tank.
