I've been considering a Tuareg as my additional bike since it came out, it just seems so good! And there's an Aprilia dealership less than an hour away. Definitely don't have the skills to warrant this version though but damn it's nice looking!
I have the tuareg 660 since 2 years and this could be a part exchange opportunity. Aprilia has really done great job with the Tuareg and too few youtube channel points it out like you do
@MOTOBOB Please do a video like this on the new KTM 990 Adventure and if there is a Adventure R model on this one too, I have seen that the bike was down there on Eicma from a friends picture that was there, but I know nothing about it and poor info on it out there. So please since you were at EICMA I hope you have video footage of it ? Cheers!
I have been to Eicma today and I was not able to see most of the bikes because of the amount of people in there...😅 Never ever again during the weekend!!!
Love it might be my next bike not 100% on the reliability though some people have had major issues that and my nearest dealer being miles away But going with the heart still love the bike
Since the launch of the Tuareg, i was waiting for its india release. But they decided to go the CBU route, and cos of that, it is now priced pretty much the same as a Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Horrible pricing. If it was priced correctly and just a tad bit more expensive than the versys 650 or tiger 660 sport, it woulrve sold so well.
@@Whatreally123I think any 600- cc bike under 8-9 llakhs is a sweet spot....400-600 cc under 5- 6 lakhs...it will it a be good product then.....otherwise no point of spending it.
Great looking and spec'd bike, I was going to get one earlier this year but the standard bike was too small when I sat on it, typically this rally version would more than likley address that. Have a Husky 701 Enduro now at 910mm and I'm still flat footed on that.
How about the Ducati Desert X Rally version ? be interesting to understand how’s it fairs against your comparison board Rally informative videos Cheers
Looks great, but it would rarely if ever see off road for me and I suspect majority of potential buyers so would like to know what it’s like with decent sticky road tyres?
I don't get why everyone complains about seat heights as low as 34". I'd much rather have better suspension than a low rider. No matter how tall I was.
Things I’d change strait away. Forks 48mm , lose the hand grips, mirrors, barkbusters, loose the rear pegs an the Katt! Get rid too hot.!! Oh an the crap engine guard! It’s like the standard, total crap thin flimsy. Love the rest of it❤❤❤🏍️🏍️🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks for another great vid @motobob also I think at 200kg wet the newly unveiled at eicma qjmotor srt 800sx Rally will make headlines with its 94hp and a 6 year warranty absolutely the best middleweight adventure setup of the year so far! (For the price it'll cost us) Does anyone know if itll be at motorcycle live this weekend? Ride safe!
@@KevGoesRiding the tubeless wheels are actually heavier. And the bike already has a lithium battery. Remove the catalyzer and you will save more weight
It is pointless having a high front mudguard in front of the forks and keep the low guard behind the forks. The low guard will still chock up with mud etc.
I test rode the stock Aprilia Touareg 660, and it was super boring and slow. It was nothing like the RUclips reviews said. The only thing I liked was how light it was. I'm curious to try the Aprilia Touareg Rally with the new ECU throttle mapping and stiffer suspension. Let's see if that's a decent bike to own. Lessons learnt = never trust RUclipsrs review 😂🎉
Were you on Offroad mode with full power? The other modes are on down on power delivery. Individual can be put at most "agressive" but factory set as slower response
Agree, I think that's a big reason they don't sell well, that and the 1970's shaped seat and exposed frame makes it look old instead of modern retro. It's obviously a good bike but just let down by the design team.
Crazy people actually buy these italian garbage piles where you have a 50/50 chance of not making it home every ride due to shoddy quality control and poor engineering.

My fav channel for reviews....keep it up and keep on riding...from the west coast of Canada !
The colours 🤗, The gold wheels, That gold touch, just like on the transalp 600, nice little touch 👌
You are bringing it from EICMA!! Thanks for the overtime work!
Nice updates Tuareg already one of the best ADV bikes ❤
Looks awesome. If I was going to buy an ADV, this is what I’d go for 👍
Thanks to quadbob for this head of industry coverage. Hope they paid you plenty mate. Good work 🎉

Cool. As soon as my DesertX gets too heavy because I'm getting old I'm going to get one of those (or the F450?).
F450 seems heavy, better to wait for little tuareg
wow!😎
Love the video🎉
I'm waiting a 457 Tuareg /:

Paying 18 lakh for a bike is madness
@AmitSahu-iz5kb no it's not. If one can afford it, then no worries. However,, Paying 18 for something that is worth 11 or 12 is madness.

Is it the Same tank capacity as standard?
The tank looks to be the same part, so I'd say most likely.

Lets hope they dont have an entire batch of front forks mis-assembled that crush your shims stacks and they wont warranty it like the 22-24 models....

the idea of anyone putting any weight into this guys score of a bike that he’s never ridden and doesn’t even know the price of 🤣🤣🤣
- 11.000 pounds
- affordability
chose only one
Id say compared to a Tenere world raid which seems its competitor thats fairly priced.
Getting it under 200kg is impressive. You could lose even more if you went with a tubeless setup and lithium battery
