I often just print on one side and the put the paper back in and print on the other side, my printer sometimes jams when double side printing on the thicker paper x

I've been wanting to come up with an idea for stationary pockets. Making something for my mother-in-law in Ireland. She's in her 80's and has been in lockdown for a year now. She needs something fun to fidget with for fun. So I'm going to make these pockets for stationary and envelopes, stickers, glue stick etc.. made from a file folder with pockets. That way she can keep busy and have something to do with her time. Thanks for a wonderful video!

If you want a taller bottom pocket and a smaller upper pocket, you can always reinforce the hinge area of the bottom section by using a piece of washi tape or even a glued piece of paper, lace, fabric… you could go to town on this basic design. ❤
I like making cards and those handmade crafting ones are showing up more and more everywhere and outrageously priced I would think that's a good thing. well for whoever selling them
I think if I did these and wanted to use up some 12x12 I wud work it out to create a multi pocket piece and with a thinner hinge part but it's all playing and seeing what u can create 😅
When I make a journal cover with thin paper I use a couple paper towels be tween the cover and the paper.or material .. works great and feels great too.you can add more or less depending on how thick you want it
I use 12 x 12 to make big pockets I score n for 2-3 inches along the bottom of the page and same on the side cut the corner but out then glue those so there's a pocket up the side and across the bottom

RE: your jammed circle punch. You might try to find an EK Success punch for your next one. I have terrible luck with punches as a whole, but EK success punches seem to be the best quality and least troublesome. Just IMHO. 😁👍🏼

I try so hard to make the things. N junk journals. But my stuff never looks as Good! I got the good glue nice paper couple flow books. Stickers, envelopes Gems. Etc. I don’t sew. I wish I had a journal for an example. U do a great job!!!!

These are so cute. My grandkids here in the US can not go back to school, not even part of the week, they need to get back to school they miss their friends. Happy Birthday to both kids! My father's birthday was the 7th, he passed away last year, my father-in-laws was the 14th and my best friends the 21st, and all have passed away! It is a sad month for me.
Oh I am so sorry to hear about all your lost loved ones, of course this must be a very sad month for you. We are back in a lockdown, so so sadly the schools are closed once again, it really is difficult for the little ones who love school and are missing their friends so much x

I made these with you and tried yesterday to put one in a journal I am making for a friend. It was so heavy that it is pulling down on the page that I glued it too. What are your suggestions for that? And obviously now that it’s glued in, I can’t very well remove it without damaging the journal
I try and mix a combination of heavier weight papers and lighter weight papers for my journal pages, and then only attach pockets etc to the heavier pages. Now it's already stuck in, maybe you could try balancing it out by sticking some other paper on the other side of the page? x

Very pretty and functional. I have two punches that are jammed. The first one was my fault as I tried to cut a napkin with it. The second was brand new. It punched a few pieces then jamed is there anyone who can repair them or should I just bin them

I feel that for this to to have clear instructions you need to demo the actual inclusion of one of these into a journal in the variety of ways they can be included, Instead you show the before and after; how to make the pockets and how the book looks after the pocket is included.

Tina, I just love the papers of your you used, but I have a question please. Can you tell me how to print them to prevent the 1 inch left on the end that's not have no print on it. Yours seem to have printed all the way to the very end on all 4 corners/edges/ends.

When my punches get stuck, just drop them on the floor, they unstuck. It does work oddly enough.
If your punch gets jammed. Set it upside down and set it on a soft surface abd stab it with a pair of scissors lol works for me

Yes the game was really fun until it stopped working. However, my son has had an email now saying that the technical issues have been fixed now, so hopefully we can finish it still. Have fun with your family is you find one online to do x x
Morning Tina, those little pockets are super, super cute and so versatile, I am definatley going to be making a few for my journal. I also just want to wish you daughter for her birthday later in the week (I'm doing it now, in case i forget!!!!) I hope she enjoys the day even though she may not be able to be with her school friends. I can just imagine how difficult it is for her, she is still only little and obviously misses being around her class mates. I am also looking forward to the book cover AND how you can incorporate it into a journal, but don't stress yourself out, when it gets done, it gets done. I try so hard to make the things. N junk journals. But my stuff never looks as Good! I got the good glue nice paper couple flow books. Stickers, envelopes Gems. Etc. I don’t sew. I wish I had a journal for an example. U do a great job!!!!

These are so cute. My grandkids here in the US can not go back to school, not even part of the week, they need to get back to school they miss their friends. Happy Birthday to both kids! My father's birthday was the 7th, he passed away last year, my father-in-laws was the 14th and my best friends the 21st, and all have passed away! It is a sad month for me.

We are back in a lockdown, so so sadly the schools are closed once again, it really is difficult for the little ones who love school and are missing their friends so much x
If you and your son haven't watched "Dexter" on Nexflix you should look into it. Definitely one for after your daughter goes to bed, but I really enjoyed it. (Not sure what that says about me - enjoying a series about a serial killer lol!)

I made these with you and tried yesterday to put one in a journal I am making for a friend. It was so heavy that it is pulling down on the page that I glued it too. What are your suggestions for that? And obviously now that it’s glued in, I can’t very well remove it without damaging the journal
I try and mix a combination of heavier weight papers and lighter weight papers for my journal pages, and then only attach pockets etc to the heavier pages. Now it's already stuck in, maybe you could try balancing it out by sticking some other paper on the other side of the page? x

I have two punches that are jammed. The first one was my fault as I tried to cut a napkin with it. The second was brand new. It punched a few pieces then jamed is there anyone who can repair them or should I just bin them

I feel that for this to to have clear instructions you need to demo the actual inclusion of one of these into a journal in the variety of ways they can be included, Instead you show the before and after; how to make the pockets and how the book looks after the pocket is included.

Tina, I just love the papers of your you used, but I have a question please. Can you tell me how to print them to prevent the 1 inch left on the end that's not have no print on it. Yours seem to have printed all the way to the very end on all 4 corners/edges/ends.

Our county is homeschooling until the end of January. I feel for all of you with school aged children. Covid has made a mess of school.
It was announced that our schools are now closed until the February half term. You are so right, the disruption for the children has been really difficult for them, even my son who claims to be pleased not to be at school has suffered as a result from the lack of routine, it is such a terrible situation x
@@shabbydabbydoodah I am sorry to hear that. I fear many children will not do well with virtual learning to say nothing of the stress this is causing their parents. We have many single parent households. I don’t know how they are able to do this.
