Did you notice a slight difference in the smell? I got my pair from Goat the other day and I noticed they don’t smell like all the other Jordan 1 highs or even the other high 85s. I was wondering if it was the different leather or different glue they used?

Big fan of your content brother. TBH it’s really close for me between the OG and the ‘85. Considering the exclusivity of the ‘85 it’s unlikely I, or any specific person, are getting them at retail. Either way that in mind, I’m just gonna have to enjoy the OG.

I'm willing to pay 250 for them, the release strategy is just baffling. While I can get the desire to make these a "collector's item", Nike would have been better off with consumers by instituting a pre-order system, with tge window to preoreder open until February 14th. From then they could have just went about fulfilling customer demand throughout the year, to an extent kinda like how Kanye is doing with the Yzy Pods and Yzy Sl-01. You may wait 6-7 months for them but you're guaranteed to get them and at a price you were comfortable with paying. In regards to your other question, I hope they drop the Chicagos in a High 85 cut this year too. There are rumors of a Chicago-esque shoe dropping in July (lowkey I think Z did the renders of it lol) but nothing official has been stated on it. I would like those to be next to get the high 85 design and hopefully if they do Nike/JB will use a different release strategy lol. As always though Z, appreciate the good work fam
