    Congrats on your rollouts! Sounds like you’re learning a lot about your stuff- that warm doesn’t work for you, the Mischa (spelling) is an amazing shade match… that’s so awesome! It’s crazy the things we learn in these projects!

    No to warm lips here too😊 That lilac top is such a beautiful shade on you - truly a True Summer shade😍 I love lilacs whose flowers have that very shade too, so pretty.

      thank you so much!! I would love your opinion - I recently paid for a service that told me my best hair color (just out of curiosity) and they typed me as a Soft Summer! What do you think?

    • @Rosy12

      I am sorry for such a late reply to such an interesting matter! I think you should wear those colours and shades that you feel looks best on you☺ When colour ananysis first came is was about 4 seasons for decades meaning you could pick whatever you liked from the Summer palette as long as you stuck to that season. Of course I could never wear cool turquoise which confused me😅 but I honestly think everyone has one or two shades or even colours from their season that is not so flattering. I still think you are a True Summer despite your hair (which can be treacherous) as your skin tone is so very beautifully cool and you really shine in those cool shades😍 but I humbly admit I am not a colour ananlysist (so sorry, can't think of the correct word)!

      it is gorgeous!! I will need to try it as a lip stain - do I just let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it off?

    • @dora_makeup
      @dora_makeup 4 месяца назад +1

      @@stillsteph I tend to blot it off immediately with a tissue (like a no-teeth bite whilst holding a folded tissue horizontally 😂) , and then wipe any excess product with my fingers.

    As the avid frankenlip panner I am, I would advocate for trying to make the warm lip product cooler with a super cool shade in your collection, like even a purple/lilac/bluish color to pull it more neutral. Maybe a fun experiment before you declutter it for good!

    • @stillsteph
      @stillsteph  4 месяца назад

      Oooh I've never tried to put a powder product in a liquid product! I'm scared it would ruin it and make it super dry - but it's worth a shot.

      @@stillsteph I was thinking a cool toned lip products, but a shadow is worth a try too! Adding some balm or aquaphor to the mix could help with the texture.

    I think you could do the Tarte shadow in two months--8 uses each month!

    • @stillsteph
      @stillsteph  4 месяца назад

      breaking it down like that makes it seem more managable! But I have too many other eyeshadows in projects to use it 8 times in a month ahaha *sigh*

    You did so well! I ADORE that Mischa BB cream--I just finished mine earlier this year, and I already miss it. Some products surprise me with how easy they are to pan, and then others seem like they take an eternity!!!
    I feel like I can make warm blush work, I can even make some warm eye looks work (though that's harder)... but I cannot make warm lips work. It looks so odd on me.

    • @stillsteph
      @stillsteph  4 месяца назад

      I am loving the Misccha BB cream - I definitely get the hype!! It is a tad too dark or too gray or too something, but it is working in the summer when I don't mind too much. The warm lip just throws everything off.

    • @whybekwhy
      @whybekwhy 4 месяца назад +1

      @@stillsteph I'm wondering if #13 would be a better shade match for you. It sounds like #13 would be MUCH lighter than #21, but it's just a shade down, and I think it's a tiny bit less gray as well.

    • @stillsteph
      @stillsteph  4 месяца назад +1

      @@whybekwhy Possibly! I was decluttered 2 of shade 21 lol so I won't be in the market for a while haha!!

      @@stillsteph Oh my gosh, you're set for a while!

  • @Rosy12
    @Rosy12 4 месяца назад

    Aah, so interesting! Well, I still think you are a True Summer as I don't see you leaning warm in your colours. I only look at skintone as eyes can be changed by lenses and hair that can be dyed - or can lean warm despite skin being icy cool (as my ash blonde sometimes has some odd dirty blonde orange unflattering spots??? until I set it straight by having bleached, cool highlights done, which I will have done again today, by the way😊). I am so fair that some think I am a light summer but as I am so very cool I look weird in many of those light summer shades and awful in warm spring ones I seem to belong in the True category. You look stunning in those very cool summer colours😍 Which do you prefer yourself, True or Soft Summer?

    • @stillsteph
      @stillsteph  4 месяца назад

      I bet you feel so refreshed with your hair done recently! Growing up, my hair had a natural warmth in the sun. And I feel like every time I dye my hair, even ashy tones, it fades to a warm brown. BUT my roots are very ashy as I've gotten older. Thank you for your kind words, I don't know which I prefer. When I was typed as True Summer, she said I could wear any color in the Summer season! I guess that is a plus, but I like to narrow it down more. Before color analysis I gravitated toward more Soft Summer shades, but I have been having so much fun in the brighter, True summer colors!

    • @Rosy12
      @Rosy12 3 месяца назад

      @@stillstephThank you, I felt so betrayed by my hair but it really does feel better now that the hair dresser has stifled that small but stubborn orange rebellion again😅
      When colour analysis came there were no subseasons, just the four main seasons which was easier as you could then pick whatever you liked the most without someone saying it was so called wrong but on the other hand there was also the general idea that you should be able to wear ALL your season's colours which I think is the reason the 12 and 16 season (the 16 one seem messy to me - I don't get that one at all so just ignore it😄) theories was invented as very few can wear every shade.
      I guess I still think you are a True Summer but you should wear whatever makes you feel your best☺ Also, our particular shades are not always easy to find as the fashion and beauty industry seem more warm leaning😬 ignoring the beauty of the coolness🧊😊
