It all starts with water. Water is Life!
In 1993, we took on a mission that seemed impossible. Based on virtuous partnerships and technical expertise, we set in motion a veritable revolution in the water sector in Portugal.
On the ground, in conjunction with our partners, we designed, planned and built systems to ensure a quality water supply and the extension of coverage and improvement of sanitation services, with equity and respect for nature.The success of our business model led to the extension of our intervention to the waste sector.
Our commitment to providing essential public services has always guided our actions. We are proud of the results we have achieved from the north to the south of the country, the positive impact on people's quality of life, public health and the environment. And also in attracting investment and the country's economic development.
We share our experience in realising various international projects that promote access to drinking water and sanitation. In Portugal and around the world, we are partners in realising the sustainable development goals.
But the world is changing. And so are we. In the face of adversity, we don't stop.
We know that if someone is missing, it can't be us. Together, we want to go further.
Our course is guided by the evolution of society, which demands a new vision for integrated and sustainable water management. We want to be ever closer, more efficient, more resilient and more circular.
With a robust organisational model and a strong ethical culture, we have sustainability ambitions that guide our purpose of continuing to make a difference in people's lives.
