It's crazy how so many people miss that comment that he says in the beginning that he's not going to do any drops he purposely said that the only thing he could have done differently for his second-round is maybe put a sound in the background of beat not a drop but a Beat

you have to understand that the vibe of it. At first he said "enough with drops" and did something really original, with a chill vibe. you wait yust for drops but you should also appriciate everything else
Even though it does deserve some appreciation, that kind of thing is better for a showcase/video, its a battle, not a soundscape. Also the fact that it was the last round made it so everyone got bored, if you have a crowd that is there for drops, you can't expect them to love this more atmospheric approach. props to NME for at least trying something different though.
Loving the reactions man you make me laugh so hard sometimes. This is one of my favorite battles. NME really made a statement with this battle, being that it was the finals. I think that Rythmind had a good chance at winning no matter what NME did just because his rounds were so dope. What NME did was more about musicality and our connection to sound as humans than it was winning. Rhythm is just one aspect of music, harmony and melody are just as important.
Well, to be honest, Rythmind killed it during the 2019 Beatbox Battle. He was too strong this year for NME. And I think that for the second round, he just presumed that he lost it...
I don't think so, 'cause first round was totally for NME.

And NME before he starts his second round said enough with drops, in his second round he created such a amazing atmosphere that I like to call "Call Of Nature"... and he did make the crowd involved the most of them probably had goosebumps with his second round, and I kinda new that you're not gonna like his second round you just love the beat kinda guy which I respect that, anyone has their own taste of music...good luck

Nme's second round was meant to showcase his artistry. Mesmerizing in a way. Yea nme's technique is hard, but Rhythmind's stuff was also hard. Nme just decided to showcase his style. Nme in my eyes is just an all out artist
