Thanks so much Mark! I personally much prefer the tempo where one can really articulate each phrase ❤ It’s not a race when it comes to playing music 😅 Thanks for your kind comment! Have you placed this fun Ballade?
@@EmilijaPlaysPiano Yes, I played it a while back... Again, your interpretation of it, especially with regard to tempo, is spot on. The worse use of inappropriate tempo that I've recently sat through was that of a sequence of various pianists interpretation of Prokofiev's Precipitato 3rd Mov - Finale - just terrible pacing - almost rushed by all of them - 'excruciating! Anyway, I very much enjoyed your rendition of Burgmuller.
Much appreciate your kind comment and so happy to hear you enjoyed my performance of this fun Burgmüllers piece!!!❤❤❤ happy practising my fellow piano friend 🎉
Wow! This piece definitely has that intrigue and mystery for sure, and the softness and emphasis as well as it moves forward… so different and so nice! Wonderfully played!!! 👍👍👍❤️🌈🎼🎵🎹
@@EmilijaPlaysPiano so amazing! I had to listen to it again. I hope you are having a wonderful Easter! Still hoping you might share a picture of some of the eggs you decorate. Happy Easter to all!
I imagine sneaking into the kitchen at midnight to get cookies. The first part is getting there, and the happy part is the happy victory of cookies
Many pianists ruin pieces by playing them at too fast a tempo.
For me personally, you have this about right.

Thanks a mil Jim! It’s such a fun piece to play & teach! Students love it! ❤ it’s full of character 😍 have you ever played anything of Burgmüller? 😊
So beautiful!
So nice ♥️
Thanks love ❤❤❤
Well played 😊
I am currently learning this piece and in other videos peoples are playing too quickly. For a beginner like me, your tempo is good to follow.
So cool! It makes me think of an old black and white movie or 80s video game. And of course you performed it with perfection!
Hahaha love this comparison! 😂 many thanks for listening ❤

Wow❤❤You are so good at piano my kids can’t even do this🎉🎉😊😊😅
Nice, but too slow.
Thanks for the comment! Yes I intentionally play it slower, as I can focus on more musicality in that way 😊 But it also sounds cool faster!
