      Gordon often fucks things up and gaslights the viewer. His grilled cheese, his steak, burned toast, pad thai, carbonara, pegao, 50% of his resturants have failed, and he often says one thing and does another (like with his burgers). He's a fucking doughnut.

    Duck and plum is a tried and tested combination in Asian cuisines indeed (roast duck with plum sauce). Gordon has interesting ideas like serving the actual plum together with plum sauce in the noodles, while searing/glazing the plum sauce with duck. This is a fusion between Asian and western cuisines, great. Very balanced meal with duck protein, noodles, bakchoy and plum!

    Thank you for these videos, quick and to the point on how to cook a dish, as well as showing off techniques to help make better cooks all around. I made my own broccoli slaw using the same technique he used from the cauliflower in the ramen dish a few videos back. Just shred it with the cheese grater.

    He’s unreal. Seriously, a duck recipe in 10, and he makes it so effortlessly. Amazing. I literally tune in to see if he can keep it up, and he never disappoints.

      Please do not cut bokchoy. It's so much better either whole or cut in half. Gordon always changes Asian recipes like crazy that would be taboo lol

      @@readabook5823 You're right, but when it comes to the 10minute recipes it's quite important. A whole or half cut bokchoy would not be able to cook in time with all the mixture of flavours. So in this instance it's better to chop for a quick cook and good taste (even if you could get a better taste whole and over longer time)

    Is it the editing, or does Gordon rarely wash his hands or utensils? He uses the same towel to dry his hands, same knife, same cutting board. Cross contamination?

      "Contaminated" it with different elements of the single meal that he was preparing, so I honestly wouldn't consider that to be cross contamination.
