If ancient box player didn’t bench the fezandipity, they had a chance to win, hydreigon player would have to cursed blast twice next turn to win, which is hard to find 2 rare candy and 2 dusknoir (assuming the deck only plays 2-1-1). and if the hydreigon with the ace spec energy dies there’s no way to use obsidian again so cursed blasting is the only way after that to take extra prizes.
@@Nickossawrrr hydreigon player cannot 1hko 140hp Pokémon with 130 x3 damage attack, it needs to set up with cursed blast or use it twice. So if you read my comment on the board state at that moment it still remains correct.
@@TheJaminator You Dusknoir a benched Roaring Moon instead of the Fez and attack with Hydreigon. The active Roaring Moon already had damage so it gets knocked, then the benched damaged Roaring Moon and Radiant Greninja gets targeted for bench damage. 3 Pokemon get knocked for the last 3 prizes. @@TheJaminator Also if you looked at the video with sound on, you would’ve heard the Ancient player say she really doubted benching the Fez but had to anyway because her hand was bad after that Iono. I'm loving your table battle content!
As soon as i saw the Hydreigon ex ive been excited to make a deck around it, thanks for the fantastic showcase!
It has potential but the draw engine is weak, especially after F regulation is rotated out it will need something to replace Rotom.
Lovely content, i like the idea of pairing hydregon with dusknoir & pidgeot altough having 3 stage 2s could affect the consistency
@@gianlucatozzi5337 true, but our idea was if it works for Charizard and Dragapult, it could work for Hydreigon too

Hydreigon player wins by taking 4 prizes on the last turn while he only needed 3. So Cursed Blast on a benched Roaring Moon was enough to win anyway.
