Hi, Thank you for the review! Does the backpack have a hook or attachment to to hang the hydration bladder so that it doesn't slip down when it gets emptier?
I think I missed what size you chose? The ME website seems pretty rubbish explaining the sizing. I'm pretty slim with a 39" chest, cant work out which size I would need? (Nice one for doing this video been looking for info all over the place. I have an ultra marathon coming up and thinking of getting one of the 14ltr packs so i can use it for climbing in future!)
@MattB-tg1ne I actually don't think I mentioned it. They have 2 sizes, and I've got the S/M. I think I'm about 37 or 38, and it seems to be spot on size wise. No worries, I'm glad it was useful. Nice, what ultra are you doing?
@@scottdurrant9720 Perfect, that's the size I was thinking. I'm torn between a 14ltr tupilak and an adv skin 12... I can't quite work out which would be best for me ... Everyone raves about the Salomon, but I'm pretty cautious with the amount of layers I take, and like to be prepared for almost any occasion, wondering if the Tupilak will be over kill ? I'm running the long mynd hike, in Shropshire, 50 miles, my first ultra.
@MattB-tg1ne it's a tough one to be sure. I really like my salomon and have used it for all my ultra races and have been really happy with it, it does feel like it is starting to wear a bit now though. The tupilak will carry more weight more comfortably I reckon and if I were doing a winter 50miler I would be taking it for sure. It may be overkill for summer though. Cool, all the best with that, it'll be great.
It looks like a cool little pack, but I might miss the hip belt/strap. My plan for this pack is a long day hike/scrambles with ~#10 - what do you think?
@mikekelly6603 I think for hiking with a bit weight in the pack, then a hip belt is definitely more desirable. All depends on how much weight you are carrying I guess. It will be great for scrambling for sure. I will be using it for long days, mostly from a climbing perspective, but I'd use it for hiking long days if only carrying spare clothes and food etc.

@ValeScussy no problem. It doesn't have a specific one that I could find. You could use the loops on the top and sides possibly.

@@MattB-tg1ne also worth considering that the Salomon won't carry an Ice Axe or ropes if you plan to do any winter scrambling
@@mandoesmountains I've ordered the Tupilak! Landed with me last night! Super pleased! Thanks for your advice!
