And thankfully every actor and actress who saw this movie immediately stopped being involved in politics and never lectured their audience ever again...God bless this film
I remember working at a theater when this came out... It was right across the hall from the Garfield movie... The amount of complaints we got from parents as Garfield and Team America let out at around the same time was hilarious... America F**k yeah! Blaring through the open doors...
When this movie came out I didn't think anything of it until, of all people, my dad told me about it. It was all he could talk about for a whole week. So I bought it on DVD, but it was the director's cut and seeing that for the first time, the way it was supposed to be, was so outrageous and so much fun, me and my buddy were laughing so hard we were crying to the point where our sides hurt. I still quote this movie today, it was so damn funny. Even watching it recently it still holds up pretty well. Especially with what's going on in Hollywood now, it's even more relevant than ever. What a great movie.
This movie was great. I love that they went so hard, rather than making it cheaper and more simply like the original Anderson works. It would be very entertaining to see another puppet movie, though they should stretch out production so it doesn't kill them.
We watched this this sooooo many times at the fire station when it came out on DVD and would laugh so hard our sides hurt and tears came out of our eyes. I'd give anything to go back to that glorious time before social media messed everything up.
If Matt and Trey are gonna keep their fingers in the video game world, I want a cheap metal slug ripoff or something along those lines but team America.
There was another puppet movie coming out around then. "Disaster the Movie" Not as clever as Team America. But still funny. That fell into obscurity even faster.
It's because the MPAA is made up of a bunch of pearl-clutching weirdo soccer moms and desiccated prudes who have themselves probably not had sex in the last 45 years. As they said in the video, they care more about 1 second of non-graphic sex than they do about hyper violence. Our culture's weird obsession against sex is truly baffling.
Studios hated Matt & Trey at the time. Now they are a cash cow. South Park still on the air and relevant unlike simpsons. Sad 8 seasons of simpsons gold and it was gone
When i was in the Australian Army they actually banned any reference to this film especially on radio because the entire radio network would immediately dissolve into idiots doing the quotes from this film. Hilarious times.
I Wouldn't Recommend "LSD" For a "RedCarpetPremiere"... But "Fungi", Would Provide a Better "Experience", in That "Situation". (If You're Lookin' *FOR* That Kind of "Experience"...in a "Situation" Like That.) Matt&Trey Would've Been Laughing Hilariously! (At Least I Woulda!😜)
Imagine complaining about how taxing making a Hollywood movie is. Such a 1st World problem lol. I'm not sure digging for cobalt in an African mine would be preferable.

And they sure didn't elect a failed reality show star.
@Repossessedurass I don't know....I still think a few actors voted Arnold in as governor. He just had sway with them....but maybe you're right
@Repossessedurass yeah a "failure" lol

Let's not forget the masterpiece that is Baseketball
Agreed
For real! soooo underrated
great film but it wasn't written or directed by Parker or Stone, so I guess that's why it's not on their list.
Still trying to get my money back 😁
That part with the execs taught the opening scene was the movie was hilarious!'😂

Team America is pure comedy gold! Wish they would make a sequel especially nowadays.
Imagine how much of a trainwreck the Trump puppet would be.

A truly one of a kind amazing classic
As a native Utahn, Orgazmo holds a special place for me
and... Now you're a Man... a manny manny man...
If Matt and Trey are gonna keep their fingers in the video game world, I want a cheap metal slug ripoff or something along those lines but team America.
"Confrontational Alec Baldwin"
Understatement of the week
This review needs a montage
I had forgotten about the Pearl Harbor song...
This is in my top 5 movies. Love it watch it a few times a year and America fuck yeah is always in my playlist
There was another puppet movie coming out around then. "Disaster the Movie"
Not as clever as Team America. But still funny. That fell into obscurity even faster.
What happened to it? Nothing. It came out, some people saw it, some didn't, and the world kept turning.
this and Tropic Thunder made me actualy piss myself laughing. Holy fuck what a movie!
I have never seen anything that funny
.... but the World really needs Team America 2.....
They should use CGI and make them look like puppets. They could get similar effect with a lot less headache...
I feel like they just missed the window for a sequel....
Beetlejuice got one decades later. Just saying.
It really is weird that Orgazmo got an NC-17. It doesn't even have any actual nudity.
It has some bare man ass in it.

The making of the sex scene was even more hilarious than the scene itself!
Damn I forgot about "That's my Bush"
Pumpkin

F@ck YEAH!
I was in tears, watching this in the cinema. Absolute genius!
It's ridiculous how much shit the6 got over the rating.....now a days terrifier gets released in theaters and makes millions lol
Parker + Stone = the biggest middlefinger to all of Hollywood
yup a great film totally worth to watch and rewatch !

10:20 Before there was Groot, there was Matt Damon...
Fr I just found my old copy of this movie last night.😂😂
I cant believe they wanted a PG on the movie. Seriously, had these execs even seen the show? Its NOT a PG show :P
Dirka Dirka. Dirka Dirka dirk? Dirk Dirka. Dirka Dirka Dirka dirk dirk Dirka. Dirka Dirka.
So joblo is just re-uploading all their old videos as if they're new. Cool, cool.
I’d love to see them make a Star Wars movie. It would be brilliant
They should have asked Peter Jackson for advice, he had done Meet the Feebles a few years before and had similar probs with doing a film with puppets.
Durka durka?
8:47-- "Coffee"
I really like it when youtube channels tell you the history of the fucking planet first, then tell you about the movie in the title...
What happened to it? It was my first 4k blue ray purchase.
Horry Shet!!
