I don’t understand why independent countries like Armenia want to participate in big powers power plays. The only thing that it brings is conflict and war at the extreme. Ukraine is the perfect example of this.
@ you do realize that Russia doesn’t have a border with Armenia. It can not invade Armenia unless it invaded another country first. I believe They would have to go through Azerbaijan or Georgia so the whole “to protect it from Russia” is nonsensical propaganda.

More like being isolated makes you an easy target for russia. Joining a coalitiin like the EU and Nato provides economic security and protection.
