- Everybody is familiar with the "Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing" meme. Well, I decided to try to turn it into a challenge. You can carry other players on your back in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, so what if Luigi did absolutely nothing and we had to bring him from the beginning to Bowser. Is it possible to do it? Let's find out!

This is like a story where Luigi broke his legs and instead of Mario just leaving him, he went above and beyond to make sure that Luigi got to see the world too even with broken legs.

You can groundpound luigi in the toadhouse to switch whose turn it is.So u can actually beat the toadhouse without controlling luigi.

Fun fact: if you ground pound Luigi in the toad house when it's his turn it will become your turn so yes you can get a fire flower there and other power ups as well

Solution to underwater problem. Connect a 3rd controller and play as toad. Use Mario to push Luigi and use the toad as a platform for luigi.
Im telling you! You have to carry Green Mario in Super mario 3D Wolrd, probably it will be fun.

Cool video. A few things, as I tried this challenge.
1. It is possible to use the propeller if Luigi has is it, and you can go under vines in 5-1
2. If you spin jump while carrying Luigi right before you are forced forward into the final fight, Luigi will go superspeed down, but red Luigi will spin jump.
3. If you throw Luigi at the fake final switch with precise-ish timing, the the models will overlap as they celebrate.

You CAN use the fire flower (if Luigi has one), this is not a limitation, you will just make a spin jump to do so

8:21 and this one starts off with a Beeg Problem! You have to climb onto those Fences in the background in order to clear this lava pit. But sadly, we can’t even do this while carrying Luigi, because even if we can, Luigi will now be stuck on those things!

If I remember corretly, you can steal other players' turn by ground-pounding them in the mushrom house minigame.

When you did the panel where you get power ups they give you the players turns, but if you ground pound on the person's head it will be your turn and just so that so then it's your turn
This brings 'carrying you teammates' to a whole another level.
Reminds me of Freak the Mighty, a book about a big, strong kid who carries around his physically handicapped friend everywhere.

2 things.1. In the water level in world 1, you could just give a mini mushroom to the both of you, so, why didn't you do that?

I tried to beat this game while carrying Luigi and you can do power up panels because if it's Luigi's turn you can ground pound him to steal his turn.
