Sorry but you have a lot to learn about salvage. Just in that driver's door you had your money back in components window $500 window regulator $300 door card $300 door switch gear $100 hinges $75 . Thats without considering door handles and locking mechanism.
And he will make 10 times that from youtube destroying it, Just like whistlindiesel,
@@ronaldgentry9923 So sad . But true
And then he just cuts the ratchet strap, do you know how much those cost, a whole 20 bucks, that's crazy, most of you guys can´t even afford to buy ratchet strap and he just cut it, how dare he doing this. Think of all the poor truck drivers that can't afford ratchet strap...
For people thinking this was a bad deal, don't forget the monetization he gets from all of us watching him tear it down. There's content value right there.
If it were me, I'd be removing all the fiddly bits, clips, screws, etc. Stuff that is always going missing in rebuilds. Relays, wire harness sockets, spring hangers, air bags in back, and so on. Doesn't seem like much, but that stuff adds up.
Yeah not sure if he is running a "parts" business or just a click view business. I will tell you this. I watch another channel called Watch JR Go. He started a side business apart from his reg stuff stripping cars down for parts. Right away he could see, I mean in real time his RUclips numbers dropped like a million pound rock. Guess what, He still parts out cars but he never shows it because it's a RUclips money loser. Heck how much was that perfect door gasket drivers side door worth to somebody.
Its a bad deal just for deals sake.. I if a non content creator but a average person doing this for a business.
@@thomaslascola9683 Not a great video either. Anyone can by scrap metal.
I'm absolutely not a hater, but I think he's wasting quite a bit of money by being silly with a telescopic handler. There were plenty of reusable parts such as window and computer boxes that are still there and are still worth some money. In my opinion, it's nice to see you completely dismantling trucks but do it more responsibly.
Truck has been outside and wet for a long time. Cannot trust electronics
Yep 100percent
If you could destroy a few 1000 dollars of used parts and make 10, 20, 30 grand off the video of destroying said items would you do it. Videos like this bring the comments out of all the buthurt people. Likes, Dislikes, all comments weather your praising something or calling something terrible all are good things in the eyes of youtube advertisers that only care about how many people see their adds.
It’s not hating to disagree. No need to be defensive
Ripping the wires out of the computer there's a bright one
Well when someone says 'its not worth the effort' to remove and store complete rear axles then you just know this is NOT about making money. Its about that thing called 'content'.
That door alone had very usable parts like trim, motors and even that window that was carefully smashed.
Salvaging even for scrap metal and plastics takes time and effort and well we know Bruce only does stuff 'real quick'.
Such a damn shame because that truck would have made two episodes and had piles of saleable scrap and parts if done right.
After that treatment, it's a miracle if you can find something to use
What wasn’t wrecked in the accident is wrecked now what a total loss..
buys truck for salvage.... first thing he does is break a perfectly good window.
He's a "youtuber"....
If u believe he bought this truck your a fool, Fitzgerald has 100s of these totaled trucks sitting around. Bruce just created content and lying like always!
I bet Fitzgerald loves all the new gauges in thier floor.
I bet they don't give a crap. 😅
That was a $150 door glass…lol
See Bruce the idea is save what isnt broken so you can sell it as salvage. Instead you let dumb and dumber out to destroy parts. Good business decision
Back to the chop shop stuff like the after hours diesel days , eh?
😂😂😂😂The driver's window was the only recoverable part, but that was not going to help recover the 1000 bucks.
I'd start an aluminum pile/bin at the very least.
The CPC BOX that's in the dash is worth 4k and up used !!
I just bought a new one from freightliner for 1200$, during covid yes they were that expensive, now no.
He doesn't understand salvage. Only destruction
Only if it wasn’t sitting in the weather for a yesr
@@ernestbrothers1298 I believe he knows how to make way more money from RUclips destroying those things than he would ever get selling them.
There is a heap of recyclable stuff there, steel, alloy and copper in the wiring. Great video, mindless destruction, my style of wrecking vehicles.
And answer the question that many are asking there was a fatal accident no the driver did not survive! They were hauling several big rolls of steel and dumbass got in front brake checked and basically those rolls of steel chain busted and went into the back of the cab with the truck destroying it
whoa... not good eh.
You need a couple of 40 yard dumpsters and a slide back to haul your own recycling and trash.
Buy some roll off dumpsters for each style junk them divide it up while you are tearing it apart.
Can't even finish watching this. There was plenty of parts that could be saved if that's what was really intended but it ain't
Looks like Cody gave that truck the good Ole whistlin diesel treatment 😅
You need to build an engine run or simulation stand. You shohld try to keep the harnesses intact and convert them into test harnesses for use on a test run stand. Any engines with cracked front or rear cover should be repaired.
You all need to find a scrap yard that brings roll off for you to fill then the pick up when full. One for each type of scrap you all have. It would save you trips to the yard and be easier to store it till pick up too. Just a thought.
Just destroys everything. How crazy is that 👎
Prayers for the driver,s family!
I'd say. Put a cheap backup camera on the telehandler and turn the beeper off when not around others. Indoors.
That argosy is cool, the paint reminds me of my old micro machine van. I played the shit out of with in the 90's 🤣
Bruce there's a bunch of things. I've seen that you just destroyed that you might be able to salvage and sell like that. Door the window in the door the glass from the door maybe you'd better get a 100 bucks for that. I mean wouldn't take 15 minutes, maybe to take that door off and get to windshield the window out of there. That bear, maybe you could try to salvage. Some of the harnesses and not destroy everything.
I know there's a guy on another channel. I watch Justin trucki know. He's looking for 2. Seeds for his cab over but he wants to short once cry recap to and see if you can helping get me a good deal on 2 used ones.
Tear apart a dpf system on one of them truck's to show what's inside one that would be cool
Well, thats a new thing to see in this video. He bought a wrecked truck.
Less work to put in..
You've lost the plot Bruce
Us express doesn’t have cab overs. This was a cascadia
I reckon Robert De Niro would buy those 6" high heel pumps if you can find the other one.
Prayers too the driver did he live?
Just FO with your prayers BS
Bruce you have to put twice pipes on that Freightliner you just bought I like what you did so far. But it has to be piped and turned up. Jake brake
I was waiting to see a foot in that shoe.
i REALLY DO HOPE THAT THE DRIVER WAS NOT HURT TOO MUCH AND WAS ABLE TO WALK AWAY WITH SCRATCHES AND BRIUSED EGO, ABSOLUTE TRAIN WRECK OF A CRASH THIS ONE.
That 2019 Freightliner is definitely done💥💥💥 Ol' son😲😲 Have a great evening Bruce👍
Clearly all Bruce is interested in is breaking things and the drive train. NOT MAKING MONEY!
The only good thing was the window you broke. Maybe the Trans.
Well I know who to call when I need to get rid of something LOL , Sorry Bruce 😂😂
whistlen diesel
Was waiting for a mower belt to come out of that chomps box lmao jk love the vid as always man. Always a treat
By the time u get done with it there will be nothing left to salvage
I thought it was a day cab at first. That’s some twisted aluminum. At least you got the transmission out of it.
Dude, stop swaying that camera around....!
1k is the catalytic converter and scrap metal everything else is profit and the metal can be a lot more if you separate copper aluminum and steel
I don't know why you didn't use the chain in the first place
Not one part of this video was interesting ! Waited 5 days for this ! No thanks,,,,,,later !
Bye Felicia 👋
I’ve read some of the comments and there is value there. These don’t know the wrecking business. Back in the day I worked in a truck wrecking yard. They need drop boxes for aluminum, cooper , steel. I’m not sure but the left side fuel tank if not dented is resealable. Even if it’s dented somebody might use for a storage tank for something. The primary driveshaft looked ok. The engine and transmission. I guess the engine had a hole in the block so but the head and some internal parts are probably good and the transmission might be good as a core rebuild. Now the rear axles. We used to cut the frames just in front of the rear axles and then remove the wheels then stack the hole axle combine in stacks 5 high. Most of the time we’d part out the axle assemblies for the third members to be used as rebuilding as reman’s. Or just sell as is. Then there’s the hubs, axle shafts that have value but these guys need a system in place. There is a lot of owner / operators working on a shoestring budget that need parts. Then they parted it out right in the middle of the shop and F up a clean new cement floor how stupid is that. These guys are want to be truck salvage guys right now.
Helps to use a cutting disc instead of a grinding disc when cutting
Grinding disc is safer lol
Hope the driver is ok after a terrible wreck like that 🙏🙏🙏
For sure
You should break down those aluminum wheels they would be $200 probably in aluminum scrap. Would of saved that driver's window, it would sell fast.. I would keep all salvageable interior pieces and box up mark'd Cascadia. Between the transmission and scrap he's gonna triple his investment.. maybe more
Literally thought it was a day cab
Oh, you don’t have to make a mess don’t you?
Saw you getting on 111 earlier today Bruce!- Coors light truck driver
Lol glad yall can have just as much fun scrapin a truck as building one😂
Did they clean the brain and fecal matter out of that cab? Because I’ve worked many crashes and unless this driver had their guardian angel with them they didn’t survive
Bruce mentioned that this wreck smelt gross, rotting human remains maybe ?…,,
that truck just has a small scratch on the fender, just have to sand it and paint then boom brand new truck!
Stearing shaft looked like the broom. 😊
You scrap the wheels off that thing they'll turn it into an entire F-150.
Need a dump trailer in the shop for the metal
We have a dump out back!
Wouldn't touch that truck with a 10-foot Pole unless I knew the driver survived if the driver didn't make it it would just sit there wouldn't put it in my shop
You scared of blood?
@@mikrosixtysixscared from truck not from blood
Why?
@@neverstoppulling5169 think yourself would you like to sit on a truck which had accident in past and the driver d!ed in that accident will you still drive that truck knowing it had dark past ?
@@goldenstaffgaming3192 Okay well we aren't exactly sitting in the truck because it's getting parted out.. I actually buy wrecked semis just like this for my junkyard here in Florida. I have a few where it seems like the driver probably didn't make it.... There are no like human remains so I don't think too much into it's past i guess?
You lost me at the commercial
Rule #1, don’t EVER tell another man what to do their own money.
I totally thought that was a Day Cab until he showed the refrigerator door and the womans heel! Smh
If I were you, I woulld check so the prices for scrap metal (Alu, iron, copper), find out how long it would take to seperäte all thes from a wreck, to see if it is worth it. Salvage and resell on parts which give you the most money. I ahve many mistakes you just made. I could go on for a long time, but if you want to get some advice then just give me a shout.
That was a pretty tough window, got to admit it 😂😂😂
not a bad deal, aluminum goes alot per lb now and just the rims alone you prob make half it back no joke
Your buddy Tim gentry need a few parts for his son's truck
Looks like you bought a wrecker rick recovery special
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He paid nothing for the truck it's paid for itself plus some just because of the video he made from it so he definitely isn't doing anything but gaining a bigger Bank account from the views and comments and subscribers he gain's from it and then there's the scrap value also.
Looks like you have 3 good aluminum wheels and some good steel wheels. You also have rearends and a fifth wheel that are good
Knows how to make a flippinga mess for sure
Wash it well and put a good permanent wax on it and sell it. Nothing else to do ;)
You should do a Will it start video. 😅
Lucky you had a commercial in there, because you sure didn’t make any money back from the salvage of this truck👍🏻
& u pick up all that trash ,because u made it!!!😂
If the rears aren't damaged I would set them aside and sell them
That’s the plan
Pull the rear end and see if ther and goo or rebuildable or could use parts to makeva good t of rears
Hard to watch your videos if you keep doing dumb stuff , professional isnt part of the equation, and yes i have choice, love trucks and machines but reskless activities, nah , i was looking forward to the wreckers ,whats happening to them ? if i missed them thats because your content isn't high on priority, but hey you carry on ,i can find better content .
Not a hater ,merly giving you the opportunity to maybe polish the act up .
Need to make some money of this heap of junk... "Removes door with forks..." The window could be saved for some money... The door card maybe could be reused for some parts
Even how funny it is to wreck the wreck even more the buisnes needs money to make of every wreck so even if a door card could be reused for a few bucks that wil keep the flow going 🙈 even tho i would do the same if i got a big machine to wreck something more than it already is 😂
That'll buff out!
I thought that was a day cab at first
Bruce you make that shop dirty you should take that truck out side
The Argosy looks good doing it's thing.
But the big question is did the driver survive that wreck?
I did realize it was a sleeper and not a day cab
I would be extremely surprised if they did.
@@sealevel1919
Or dumped it out of an airplane!
It’s a cascadia not an argosy
@@coryhoover01 no the other one lol
Aren't those tire good still? At least for offroad use.
Like the content. But take time and just get what you can for what dver you have. Ecus and that window rear end gears someone will pay money for it. Just take all you can build up inventory of things.
Hello y'all. I know the beeper is for safety. But I'm sure you guys agree. It's loud in an annoying way...
You need something like MasterPro Hydraulic Body Repair kit to help and look around car body tools hydraulic stuff we love a good tool 🔧
If you know people will buy the parts I would scrap everything off it you can, including rear end gears. An once you have some inventory start getting rid of it all.
Actually that's a goodbye. You gotta transmission that's worth probably about four thousand and you've got an motor that is worth four or five thousand, Differential parts that's worthe.French report says worth at least two thousand, Anyone that says it's a bad bye doesn't understand the salvage.
Don't worry we can rebuild it good as new
I would save the engine wheel tires and rear differentials the one fuel tank the the electronic components for resale
Ignore the hate brother. Keep it up
The quick camera movement is making me fast forward a lot.
Anyway that truck should have went straight to a salvage yard as I wouldn’t trust a single item left on it. plus there really isn’t any money to be made in that would be worth the time to strip it apart.
Those chomps are really good. I used to buy them at Trader Joe’s
Good lord...did that Freightliner get nuked? 😬
Mount the broom on the front of the hover board 😂l🤯😂😂😂😂
It’s their truck they can do what ever they want to it
Enjoy the sticks! 🥳
