- I’ve never personally been the biggest fan of this piece but the calls to do it were getting deafening. I definitely warmed up to it a little while transcribing it, I’d love to know what the composition/rehearsal process looked like goddamn.
Also while uploading this I just noticed that Leo is even wearing sunglasses under his mask lol

For the section around 2:10, the notation for back-and-forth alternate fingerings is generally to write out the notes and put an open circle (°) above every other one.

I know I'm late to this, but I'm pretty sure the "no clue" is a chromatic tremolo, which is when you go from G to high F while trilling with the high F key on the side, which he's doing in the video. I could be wrong though.

For the overtones in the beginning you basically honk with a more firm mouth or something like that, but basically find the position of your mouth where and the position of your reed make both a low A and a e at the same time, it’s gonna feel weird and it basically sounds like a beginner is using a bari sax, but that’s how I learned to do it.

Ever since he went solo/TMZ most of Leo's stuff sounds the same. Technically brilliant but very little melodic substance. It's the kind of music that sounds cool for a few minutes and then gets old. His solo in Buyo still is the high point IMHO.
