Scott I slammed my thumb in a door and same thing throbbing hurt. I went to a hospital ER and heres what the doc did. Took a metal paper clip un bent half and held it in a flame till it was real hot and just pushed it through just the nail and it immediately relieved the pane and the burning clip cauterized the hole. Put a bandaid on it.
FINGER NAIL PROBLEM. Use a heated (HOT) paper clip to slowly drill through the nail. You may need help because it is sore. Work it through until you break through. The blood will ooze out and the pressure reduction will relieve the pain.
@@gosmall.livelarge No. Seriously! It works. You won’t feel the heat and naturally, stop once the blood starts to flow. Just go slowly. I had to do it once. You will appreciate the relief.
The tape measure concept to live your life is interesting.. I say screw and live your life on your terms day to day. Just ask look at the people impacted by the New Orleans tragedy no tape measure concept addresses the unknown the unpredictable....................................................!!!!!!!!
Hi Scott. I have a 2020.5 Travato GL inspired by your channel. My first RV to learn and discover what I like. Glad I bought this before retirement (54 now and looking to retire in 3-5 years). Am thinking of trading in and getting a new RV before retirement. I have discovered I am not interested in full timing…more like your latest inclination of home base and long weekends, 2-3 weeks trips and up to 6 week tours. I am interested in the Westvalia Wave and the Wingham. I love the length of the Wingham but one of my main objectives for next RV is bikes inside the RV. Cycling is one of my main travel activities. For Westfalia, I’m intrigued by the rear garage (can I store two bikes and still sleep in the rear?) and the 38 gallon fresh water tank! But how does the electrical system compare with the Volta system? Thinking of trying to make it down to the Tampa show but not sure if I can yet. Glad to see your show reboot. Reggie in S.C.

Windshield/rearview mirror - nice metaphor.
Happy New Year Scott 👍🏼

I hope that's just a joke, because that sounds pretty painful!

I have done that on a couple of occasions and it’s not painful at all but it works great.
