I think he probably does, but based on his choices, it wasn't about the music at all, lol. He was judging them based on what they were playing and the style they were playing, rather than if they were actually good or not, and probably if it sounded hot to him or not, lololol. Someone also mentioned that his ego wouldn't be able to stand having a partner that's super talented, and that's probably also a factor. I think he picked the one that is talented but on a level that he thinks he can play on, LOL.

There genuinely are men out there (I'm not talking about the guy in the video or anyone in particular) who are really so insecure and selfish that they'll get jealous if their partner is smarter/more talented/earning more money/better than them in general, so much so that they'll try to bring their partner down, gaslight, ridicule their ambitions, etc. so that they can feel like the "better one" in the relationship. I'd think (or hope) that most relationships are not like this, that most people are better than this. But that doesn't change the fact that some women have to deal with this type of toxicity, and in especially bad cases, it can ruin their lives, and nobody has the right to dismiss their genuine stories and struggles as a "silly hate fantasy."

The worst part of these is how they go, "Now what do you think?" when the only difference is that they've each seen the way the other looks. They get you interested with a concept that actually seems kinda neat--go on a date after playing/singing music and having some conversation--but they ruin it by obviously setting it up and adding shallow bits. It makes Brett and Eddy's anger and roasts all the more entertaining, though, haha.
I agree I hate jubilee content for that reason. It’s thoughtlessly made that way. Forcing people to make shallow judgements and reactions for views. Very awkward to watch. Good roast material tho

You can tell that Brett and Eddy don’t do their own editing because they’ve never heard of a digital zoom (3:18) even though there are like a dozen in their own video 😂
Ok but the one they're talking about in the jubilee video looks a lot more like an optical zoom from the cameraman

It really looks like an optical zoom, or if it's a digital one it's for some reason designed to look like it has the imperfections of an optical zoom

It’s surprisingly easy to make digital zooms look like optical zooms if you spend hours observing their characteristics lol but the tell-tale sign of a digital zoom is always the worse quality and the smoothness of the zoom. Unless Cut uses film-use cameras unlike most of RUclips which uses DSLRs, no way they’ll have zooms that smooth.
