I don’t understand why you had to de tune when you’re playing a 5string... what’s the point of that low B string?

The reason I tuned is because Nikki Sixx plays a 4 string and is in D standard tuning. I’m trying to make these helpful for people, and most people have a 4 string bass. I typically only use the B if the original player used a 5 string on the song
