I do recommend watching XY, there is lots of great stuff about it for example Ash seems more grown up he Influences those around him, Clemont is a comedic genius while being being serious, Bonnie takes care of a legendary for a season, the battle animations are great.
As someone who's been watching pokemon and playing since Red that last line and seeing all his pokemon got me crying

Scamming? Nah that's just the power this track had. Good from start to finish, Cam had me tearing up because that final verse really shows how long the show has been going on with Ash as our protagonist for 25 years that's basically as old as I am right now, as of this video.

The fact that Ash really has a Bulbasaur, Quilava, Tododile, Oshawott and Gable really says how neglectful he was during his jouneys xD Imagine how strong he would be withfinal evolutions :P
Gible* Totodile* and what are you talking about? Bulbasaur refused to evolve & regardless, his Bulbasaur, Quilava & Gible were still incredibly strong. Oshawott was decent, the only one that really sucked was Totodile.

i've watched every season until like mid journey's because I've been busy. but the final moment of reflection really made me remember the moments that the anime used to define my childhood. Gosh I'm only 16 and I feel old, nostalgia is my weakest point

I like the end of the song cuz it's kind of giving you meaningful moments about it and I don't know it's just a great song
Every time I see this I cry because the end it proves that even if you only watched the first couple seasons, even if you only watched journeys, even if you just heard of ash’s struggles then you know that this has been his dream from the very very beginning and all of us old or young have seen him taking the steps to become what he always dreamed, to be a Pokémon master. And also that this proves that we all have a dream that we haven’t reached yet and we will eventually and if that dream is something like be a good RUclipsr be a lawyer be a doctor if we try and never give up on our dreams they will be achieved. Look at someone who spent a year in kanto just to lose, look at someone who got backed in a corner with legends, look at someone who failed over and over but he always gets back up so if we do the same we will achieve our dreams and we have ash to thank for helping us get there we all love you ash and will miss you❤

It's kind of weird that McGwire singing catches people off guard, seeing as he's known for being a quality singer, has SINGING cyphers instead of rap cyphers and shows his vocals off on EVERY piece he features on.

Regarding how long hes been on his journey thru the regions, officially Ash started his Journey April 1st when he was 10. His canonical birthday is May 22nd and after alll these seasons hes still 10 somehow. So technically he hasnt even been gone for 2 months.... but we all know thats not true

X and y is so good there isn’t a word to describe it ash was at his peak he had that bond with greninja (spoiler) at the end of the anime when greninja leaves is one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen I’m just waiting for the next series of journeys to come out so I can see greninja come back and then they had to ruin the whole of Pokémon by making sun moon and journeys I know it’s meant to be a kids show but I need another series like x and y for the new anime
