WHO WE ARE
SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high end audio equipment. We only buy equipment that we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, and no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.

Love that B & O turntable! I have a Beogram RX that I purchased around '84-86. Still playing and in great condition.
I never get tired of seeing beautiful vintage audio! Great selection of new finds. thanks for sharing!!
always enjoying seeing the new arrivals
I owned a pair of the Dahlquist DQ10s for quite a while. For their time, they were fantastic. I drove them with a SAE2400 and a Dayton Wright preamp. Those were the days.
Looking forward to hearing them again. What amp would you recommend?
@@SkyFiAudio You mentioned doing a review of the DQ10s, I would really enjoy that, the DQ10s were in the first real "audiophile" system I ever heard around 35 years ago! The owner of that system had them powered by a Sumo Gold and a GAS Ampzilla powering a pair of DQ1 subs if that helps with your amp question.
Smashing looking Kit!
Wait until you all hear the new Clarisys Audio Panel Loudspeakers they are unreal ! Very Very Addictive speakers OMG
Another drool fest - thanks, Fernando. I just love your attention to detail and the fact that you really care about the cosmetics. I know, it's all about the sound (😉), but this kit also tends to look beautiful as well. I am presuming that the Mac faceplates come direct from Mac? If this is the case, huge kudos to them for supporting all of these products. I'm guessing they are unique in going quite this far. Outstanding service. Keep up the good work, Fernando👍👍👍
Its one of the many reasons I love McIntosh. Only once in many years have they not been able to supply a faceplate and we order tons. Thanks for watching sir.
I really enjoy your videos, hope you'll keep them coming! Its a real pleasure to see equipment I grew up drooling over, like McIntosh, B&O, and Dahlquist. I am currently the extremely happy owner of Harbeth 40.1s, which to my ear can outshine speakers that cost much more.
Killer speaker, your a luck man. What amp are you using?
Amazing! - subscribed.
Just so many great things you have in your shop!!!
I hope you can find a Yamaha C-1 and other VFET amps someday. It's seriously endgame stuff. Love the content!
I hope so too!
Thanks, never seen this table before
Great, as usual...but too fast?!? You seemed in a hurry, rushed. Love every videos...keep them coming...thank you.
Great tip. I will try on the next one. So much to do around the shop I usually feel rushed. Perhaps I should do them on the weekends when we are closed.
Great stuff as always. Congrats on the Klipsch dealer stuff. That’s awesome.
Hey Jeffrey, Thanks! Looking forward to doing some great reviews on the Klipsch stuff. Got lots of low power amps in need of a perfect speaker.
Congrats on the klipsh dealership..
Hey thanks. We are super excited. First order coming this week. New videos soon.
wow,a great tour.
Ha I had a pair of DQ10's, way back when. Very good speaker, especially when paired with a good sub, but my Vandersteen 2c's were definitely an improvement.
I forget the electronics and table I used with them, maybe a PS audio power amp and a Audio Research SP4 preamp, which I had modified down the road. The PS Audio sounded fabulous with Rogers LS3/5A's. Very punchy.
I was going through a lot of equipment at the time.
The crown Cx844 reel to reel you posted about that was amazing !
Right!
I love it!
I'm very intrigued by that Goldmund Pre🤔
This is quite the candy store. Keep the videos coming.
I hope you do a video on the B&O system.
This is a cool shop but the prices are generally 30- to 40-percent higher than the market average.
Love all that stuff, why is there a car hanging in your shop ?
Fernando thank you so for doing this.
Hey my pleasure.
Lot of drooling going on here. I'd really like to hear those Harbeth 40.2's. I could spend hours looking around that facility.
Gone already! Thanks for watching.
@@SkyFiAudio I'm not surprised, congrats on the sale! Great place you have there.
Had the TacT rcs. Its was a game changer but it relies on your ability to tweak it correctly and I never felt I was getting the best out of it so I traded for the later Lyngdorf system that is automated and not reliant on my limited ability.
I'd never be without room correction now.
Gotta find the mics for it before we can play around. Do you know what they were?
Random question…at 00:51 there are some small wheeled speaker/furniture dollies…where did you get them? I want some for my floor speakers? Thanks for all the video reviews and info!
Nottingham Analog turntable - these were handmade by a gentleman whose name I cannot recollect, but he built them for the National Sound Archive and other ultra professionals with his own Tone Arms too.
I think they are in the UK and still in business.
Nice stuff!
A couple of thoughts.
Are you sure the Linn arm is mounted correctly on the Roksan? Just eyeballing, it looks to me like it might have just been dropped into a Rega mounting hole, which would put it too far from the platter.
That Stax box isn't an amplifier. It's an interface to go between an existing loudspeaker amp, and older type Stax headphones. It also is designed for the standard bias Stax models, and won't work with the currently sold "Pro bias" Stax headphones.
Thanks for the tips! I measured the spindle to pivot on the Roksan and it was spot on. There was previously a Linn in place not a Rega. Yes, thanks for the clarification on the Stax. Cheers.
@@SkyFiAudio Ah okay. All Linn arms use the same 211mm mounting distance and bolt pattern
Great content! Finish of the Harbeth 40.2’s?
They were Eucalyptus and are on their way to a new home. Thanks for watching Andrew.
Nice 😍😍
Mógł bym tam zamieszkać : ) Pozdrawiam wszystkich pasjonatów dobrego brzmienia
What is the asking price on the Harbeth speakers?? It would be real helpful if you gave a price when showing the equipment you want to sell. Rather than asking me to surcharge your web sight for the price on any particular item.!!!
Search, not surecharge
Hi and thank you for the excellent look around...I may be able to help you with the Musical Fidelity 300 two box Nu Vista power amp..yes one is the power supply and the other is the amp...the amp was altered in production as it was running too hot and two pairs of output devices were removed to make it more reliable at the cost of sound reproduction and drive....however all is not lost as I have in my secret cupboard a factory (never made available) conversion kit to bring it back to the spec (and better) it should have been plus some alterations to give it reliability. Once done the unit will tear anything else to pieces and sound like nothing you have heard before.........I only have ONE of these factory conversions....interested....I thought so!
wow, great intel and good to know. Thanks Mick. Will be in touch after we go through it.
@@SkyFiAudio There is a link wire, resister and bios you will need to alter. Regards.
Great 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
A lot of treasures, some are more than 30 years, I believe your stocks are more than millions dollars.
yeah lots of great inventory. Haven't done the math but its up there. Thanks for watching.
Since you have a lot of speakers... I'm looking for a pair of Yamaha ns-a1738.... And second Yamaha turntable in black.
Nothing in stock but be sure to subscribe to be the first to know once we get one.
@@SkyFiAudio subbed a long time ago
Where did u find new faceplate for 2300. I need one
Its a reproduction piece we got from Audio Classics in NY. Give them a ring, mention we sent you. Thanks.
Santa’s workshop for daddy’s
What is a car doing in a hi fi workshop ?
where? :-).
I enjoy your channel. A tiny bit of constructive criticism. Please get a better microphone. Your commentary is mostly clear, but occasionally it fades away.
I think its when I lean forward. Will be more careful and thanks for mentioning.
I think you are wrong about Yamaha tuner, build quality is amazing, but talking about pulling stations, no it is not good at all, compared with Kenwood tuners from this age, well Kenny's are way better.
we'll have to try it side by side. thanks for the heads up Petar!
@@SkyFiAudio please let me know about outcome:) cheers
Does anybody still waste their money on Bang & Olufson ? 😢
You'd be surprised. I have two sets of 8000 speakers at home, great looking and perfect to connect directly to a TV.
Saliva inducing…
Give the price
LA MENTIRA DEL AUDIO TODAS ESAS MARCAS 🤣🤣🤣
Todas?
That Harbeth looks like someone threw it together in their garden shed. Screw holes all over the front. Piece of junk.
PLEASE STOP SAYING: A, UM AND SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t mind when someone talks like a normal human being. It shows they aren’t trying to be fake, it’s just Raw. This isn’t a professional RUclipsr. Its a HiFi store owner who uses a RUclips Channel for advertising. Maybe you John Lupo should not insult your parents by acting like they raised you to be a Shitbird. That’s a good start if you want try it out or not. Up to you.
@Nicholas IF YOUR IMAGINATION IMPOSES THIS IS SHOUTING. that's a problem.
JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE INVENTED IT, YOUR BRAIN OBBBEEEEYYSS AS HYPNOSIS _yes, yes, this is shouting_
WHEN YOU READ, YOU, ONLY YOU IMAGINE THAT STUPID THING.
my mother is an ignorant old adult, she read whatever and neer IMAGINE ANYTHING ABOUT SHPUT OR MY urANUS IS MY PLANET. because my mother is not controlled by the FFF3#########Nggggggg IMAGINATION OF OTHERS
@@DrSinisster Well said!!
@@DrSinisster Some people are better speakers than others!
Don't like it, find another channel.
What's the point to buy all that ? You're not reselling much, and this facility is in a commercial low rent strip mall. You're rich and got no life other than hifi ?
Jealous
It’s called a passion, and a hobby. Its quite healthy for Humans to do. You shouod find 1 or 2. I stated with Hobbies as a child, and it has been very beneficial. Also. How would you know what he “resells”? Why you would accuse him of being rich. If you know him so well why are you acting like he is a stranger? Thats very odd. Then you accuse him of having no life when he is clearly a very busy business owner, that has a large community behind him locally, and online. It really just shows that your comment was made by an ignorant individual trying to put someone down. This makes you a gross insult to the people who raised you. Maybe thats why you act like you do? To spite those who raised you. Or youre acting out because no one raised you. Either way get some help, and talk to someone. The world will be a better place when your a better person.
Well, what the flip do you do? Bonehead, blind and deaf dungo.

Have you ever been there? I have. It's not in a strip mall.
ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO BE KNOWN TO EVERY AUDIO FILE AND AFICIONADO OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT IS A LITTLE ITEM THAT SONY PRODUCED UNTIL THE YEAR 2001 AND ITS NAME WAS OR IS THE TAE 2000 DIGITAL PREAMPLIFIER.. THIS LITTLE BEAUTY DOES EVERYTHING YOU'D EVER WANT A PREAMPLIFIER TO DO WITH ABSOLUTE PRECISION AND BEAUTIFULNESS OF SOUND IF YOU CAN FIND ONE USED I SUGGEST THAT YOU OBTAIN IT BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT AND THEY'RE PROBABLY NEVER WILL BE.. EVER AGAIN UNLESS SONY RESURRECTS THIS PREAMPLIFIER AGAIN TO BE USED BY THOSE WHO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THIS PRE-AMPLIFIER CAN DO
Someone’s else discarded junk
