Glad to know that tampering with public health instruments isn't a crime. They took a page out of the police tactics book. "If you screw up, quit before you can get a punishment"
The answer is easy. The department doesn't have the money or the support to raise alarms. Whoever does so will be severely reprehended. The government will turn all of their resources against the whistleblower while telling the public that they don't do that.
This is exactly what's going on with the building inspectors. The city inspectors are reporting and nothing is happening. And apartments are becoming a horrible living conditions all over the state of colorado.
Well Trump won, so get ready for more deregulation and exploitation as the norm. I've even resigned myself to acting without integrity, well, I will act with the same level of inetrgrity as Trump, so my contractors are going to have to sue me to get paid. Call me presidential.
Nope. Corruption isn't a crime under Trump, nothing you can do now, cry about it. "Wahhhh my water is poisoned, wahhh my kids have CANCER." Cry like a liberal. We voted Trump because we DO NOT CARE IF WE POISON OURSELVES. Idiot.
The whole country is about to be a Flint Michigan. Deregulate all public safety departments, except police, increase police presence to enorce the status quote while allowing the exploitation and poisoning of citizens. This is a good thing for our country, that is why Trump won. We don't want clean water, or clean air anymore. Deal with it.
I remember writing a letter to Mayor Webb (Im a Den.native) asking how the drinking water with drouts could ever keep up with the growth in population increase. It was all about construction jobs I figured? New homes up everywhere at that time boomed, never stopped
Public health policy in part is determined by the amount of viruses (like covid)detected in our water. Manipulation of information for any reason should be a felony.
the real question to ask is WHO coerced them. No individual would scheme to deceive. They had motive, no doubt. What's worse is the Media supports this by not asking WHO!
Moved here from iowa....denver area water is green sometimes yellow when i fill up a bath. Tates terrible now i have to waste money on purifiers so my kids dont grow extra limbs.
By the end of Trump's term, his administration had rolled back 98 environmental rules and regulations, leaving an additional 14 rollbacks still in progress. The administration repealed the Clean Water Rule and rewrote the EPA's pollution-control policies-including policies on chemicals known to be serious health risks-particularly benefiting the chemicals industry, A 2018 analysis reported that the Trump administration's rollbacks and proposed reversals of environmental ...

So they retired instead of being fired
Can they just tell the truth...
No you need to go to court and stand trial.
He took a vacation, then resigned.. Hm, no confusion there. 🤔
The source is the mines, runoff and industry. The boss made the decision. The tech is only part of the problem. Find the source!
Why would a chemist want to falsify data? What motive?
depending on how they are skewing. Bribes to pass selling unsafe water. or making safe water look dangerous so someone can sell new systems
Managers sometimes force them to do it with the threat of losing their job

Look what happened to Flint's economy when they found environmental hazards 😉
Leftism

I'd like to know the Governor was directly involved in the investigation and was supervising the 'consultant'. What's up with that, 9NEWS?
Well, Trump is president, so like, corruption isn't a crime anymore, relax.
This is going to be huge....

If Floride is being used it is a problem. Studies show that the smallest amount lowers IQ levels in all persons.
Stop using computers to do your job.
@9News 2:20 Who TF thought it a good idea to scroll text in two different directions? Did they get the leaded water? WTF?
Colorado trying it's best to be Illinois
With all the heavy metals in Colorado, this is a huge issue.

Jail time would be more appropriate.

If they won’t charge or arrest/ punish anyone
The public will
Department of PUBLIC Health and it wouldn’t have been protocol to inform the PUBLIC of this? Who, if not the PUBLIC, are these clowns working for?
There ain't nothing that comes after that
This is an outrage! 😡
Do they work for the Colorado secretary of state?
Well ya know; government. 🤷♀️
It’s for our safety.
This looks like one of those government money pits we need to get rid of. Local water suppliers already have their own in-house testing.

That should be prison time, danger or not.
Damage Control - would he tell the public or news media if it was problem?
My town's water always consistently tests right at the "allowable levels". It's likely a nationwide cover up.
DO climate scientists next.
Nothing "acute" what about longterm health effects
Wonderful.
