Mr chilly what is up my man! Dude I had no idea, I guess I should have researched more but ayyy, I got the parts number right. I almost feel like the dynamite would produce more overall power, and this Nova being 3 chambers would be more for fuel mileage and be more quiet? Just a guess. Thanks for tuning in and for the information, I thought they were identical.
@@jeremywilliamsrc8797 Hey bro! You got the right info. Just about all of the newer pipes went to a 3 chamber design due to ifmar and efra rule changes about noise and like you said trying to get better fuel milage. Yup the dynamite would produce more peak power but the Nova would have a broader power curve. Besides the chamber difference there pretty much identical as far as dimensions.💯👍🏾👍🏾
Nice video bud I've ran the p5 up against a lot of top .21's reds pico works etc and that p5 is one of the strongest.21's ever maid and no secret that novarosi in last 6 years of production was Frankensteining there engines lot of same engines just different cooling heads and some different sleeves etc, and some p5's had long and short strock, again nice video and I'm also a novarosi nut 🥜 lol! I own close to 20 Nova engine and gobs of spair parts happy holidays
I loved this p5 and it’s got like 17 tanks on it, thought it was so nice that I ripped it out of the kyosho and ran an engine I could get parts for if needed years ago. According to a Well experienced On road racer, fabricator, and someone that’s been on the hobby for decades, the R part of the rod refers to dimensions, and the number of the rod(4 or 7 in this case), refers to the shape of the rod. I 100% believe this guy and would trust his advice without a single question. Here is my source, it’s the third paragraph, or poster, down in this novarossi thread. Roelof Thooms I believe. Thanks again for tuning in www.rctech.net/forum/onroad-nitro-engine-zone/29453-novarossi-engines-thread-409.html
@@jeremywilliamsrc8797 I know Roelof! Good info there, I was considering buying a mito 35 9 ports for my Gt I couldnt find any info on the conrod.. R4, 7.. now i know that I can use my r7 conrods 👍
@@TastyBRC yo dude that is crazy to hear. I’ve been on those forums on and off since I was a teenager, and I knew as a kid that man knew EXACTLY what he was talking about. So misunderstood on that forum when he’s only trying to help. Sad but those who know, know. That’s awesome to hear man, you made my day and I’m glad you can pull the trigger on that engine now.
Nice pickup! The 2084 is the 3 chamber version of the 2 chamber 9853. The dynamite is a 2 chamber copy of the 2 chamber 9853

@@jeremywilliamsrc8797 anytime bro. Watching your video i just learned about the r4 rod being used with some p5 P/R/S combos. Good stuff
Good to see you back at it Jeremy.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge

Nice! I love my p5's, easy, performant and durable. Never tried a nova pipe. I thought that the r4 rod had a different lenght 🤔
