Some good catches, but you missed the catch by Ron Swoboda in the 1969 World Series against the Baltimore Orioles. It saved the game and series for the Mets.
Just people willing and loving baseball enough to play it all the way thru at the best of their ability! When it happens, it makes you feel like a kid giving your all again! And then some if you haven't made a spectacular play in your lifetime. If you have it makes you remember your own, baseball was a great experience during my life even though I wasn't good when I was young, I still had the occasional flash in the pants moment that we all wish we could do all the time. I think that's why Baseball means so much to the older generation. It carries over some but, nothing even close to what it used to mean to the public. It really was America's sport back in the day; the ballparks were always full when I was kid in the mid 70's!
Gary Mathews jr Texas is the best catch I've ever seen. I remember it being in sportscenter when i was about 12 years old and them saying catch if the year I think it might have been opening day but not sure. Catch of the 21st century so far
Ummm great plays for sure, But you should have seen some of the plays made by Willie Mays (RIP) he passed today, Roberto Clemente, Andruw Jones, Ken Caminiti(RIP) , Roberto Alomar, Cal Rapkin Jr., Mike Schmidt, Willie McGee and even Hank Aaron made some amazing catches. Look them up!
Jim Edmonds hands down is a better catch than Willy Mays and i will stick to that. I love Willy Mays but Jim did the same catch but diving with no look towards home plate. only difference was Willy throw in was amazing. Jim Edmonds has made so many amazing catches over the years he played
Why do you repeat so many clips….
Maybe a couple of guys are editing at the same time? Or they just want to make clip longer.
@@jsong8584 yeah it’s annoying and wastes everyone’s time
Probably because he just mashes together other people's videos. Did you guys notice how the middle section of clips had music and the rest didn't?
@@SPOngeBoB8177 True. Better not do that.
Absolutely no effort to make quality content just views
half the video is repeated clips bro
3:10 this is the greatest catch in MLB history. You can't change my mind
2.5 MILLION subs and they just post regurgitated clips everyone has seem 100 times, and half the clips repeat in the video💀💀 cmon brotha

Love these moments when players show their professional concentration and athleticism.
Can you please stop repeating clips it is very annoying? I will unsubscribe.
So MLB has only existed since the late 80’s? No Willie Mays?

Those greatest catches prove that Major League Baseball ⚾ is BACK!!!
No Endy Chavez?
No Bo Jackson?
David Wright also had a driving catch into the stands that was incredible.
03:34 behind the back, bare hand catch!!! What a legendary moment!
So nice it was in the video twice.
Great reel
