Imagine what you must have looked like in the universe, some sadist throwing down 4-hour flute recitals while your legendary birds bring death by a thousand cuts.
Legendary bird: "Trainer. What is thy purpose for summoning me to this battlefield?" "You fly around a lot and waste their energy." "O-oh... oh my god."
Hey Everyone. Hope you all enjoyed this one. I wanted to make a Pokemon video since day one of this channel, but it took me a while to come up with an idea for a video that is both interesting enough for me to make a video on, and one that as far as I can tell hasn't been done before. I think this one turned out pretty well, I learned a lot of stuff while editing this one. I had this video nearly done a while ago, but waited because I wanted to post it alongside a Halo video, but I haven't had the time to make more than just this one for now. I'm not sure what my next video is, I have a few ideas bouncing around, a couple Halo ideas, one in Doom Eternal, and one that isn't a Challenge Run and would be a change of pace. Not sure which one will be next or when, but as I've said a few times, this channel is not dead unless I tell you guys directly. I do this in my spare time so it can take me a while to get stuff out, but I'm workin'!
This reminds me of that really funny "Always worst luck" video that turned the whole game into a fantastic test of pokemon knowledge. It was amazing how often RNG really came into play where we don't notice, like if you lose any accuracy or the opponent gains evasion, you lose. If your attacks are 95% accurate, they're 0% accurate, etc. Sounds like a similar challenge about maximizing layered damage and outlasting them. Attacks like wrap will suddenly be by far the most useful.
I always wanted to try that ruby mod myself but Smallant never posted it and neither did Atsign who made it for him. Atsign had a post on his website showing him having made it but no download link...bruh
Reminds me of my pacifist run of Pokémon Y. Can't do damaging moves. Can't do damaging Status moves. The only damage enemies can take is from stuff they inflict on themselves. That or things like poison point or flame body, since my enemies hurting themselves punching me is 100% their own fault.
Honestly didn't think it would be possible, it's so fun to see what kind of different team and strategies you have to use to complete certain challenge (I think it's the first time I've seen a Fearow so useful and an Erika this difficult).
Another way to look at that Giovanni fight, you were your own personal bard for your own stall team viking as he slowly dies and can't do anything about it
9 minutes in, why'd you release the butterfree? 4x resist to fighting and grass and access to one of the few defense increasing moves in harden, as well as sleep powder/poison powder + compound eyes. With leech seed set up, you could stall out a ton of mons.
"there's an objectively correct starter to choose in every generation" >proceeds to show cyndaquil, snivy, and rowlett when totodile, oshawott, and litten exist
All thegen 7 starters are equally good picks pand and you can make a argument for cyndaquil being better especially in the original were all water type attacks are special when totodile is a physical attacker.
@@donkey69420 I suppose Unova despises grass types to a whole new degree, with 5 gyms that hit snivy super effectively, (Although Elese is a technicality, she still carries 2 emolgas which both know aerial ace, along with the Zebstrika which does know flame charge), with snivy being able to hit a singular gym leader super effectively. It's my favorite starter but boy does it suck in it's home region
I'm surprised that Cloyster didn't seem to be considered. It has access to Clamp, Icicle Spear and Supersonic which feels like a strong core of moves on top of reasonably high bulk.
Me, to Bruno, his face streaked with tears: "Yes, it's true. You were the penultimate threat in this unmodded Pokemon game and worthy of strategizing against."
