She scammed you with the milk. Typically they would get someone to go to the store to buy milk that is a lot more than what local pays. The store will give them some money for the profit they made. Also she will end up selling the milk and/or return it to the store or someone in the street and repeat

Well, black people is nowhere near from being an uncommon occurrence in South America. Even in Argentina, where the amount of black people is extremely low, you will find it (mostly from tourism).
People would certainly find awkward the fact that you're american though (since Lima is not exaclty high regarded for having a huge number of tourists).
That said, you should try some places in Europe. You'd see how crazy this world is.

@@Preeminentpab1 I think it depends. If you're willing to do "social experiments", to see how people behave towards foreigners or people from different ethnicities, you should try Iberian Peninsula. People around here (specially Northern Portugal and countryside Spain) are somewhat hostile towards black people and/or immigrants. You'd probably get interesting material for your channel.
Central Europe is alright, they're way more mixed (culturally wise) compared to the rest, so they're more pleasant (or less intolerants). Eastern Europe, well, it's where the razor cuts lol. Then you have North Europe (the nordics), they're way more educated from the rest so they tend to treat foreigners, tourist or not, nicely.
I live in Europe but I'm not black. I'm not European either so I've witnessed my share of people misbehaving around here, just for the fact people have different skin colors or nationalities.
