Hi Drew. Thanks for stopping by. Can’t beat the red, white, and blue ball. I’m thinking about buying one for my youth basketball team this winter. Thanks again and hope all is well.
Gave a video like. That is a really cool set! It's cool that you have with tab and have the 11 of the 12 that you want the most. Great art on them. Thanks for sharing, Andy
Andy man these are so fantastic! I so miss basketball the way it used to be, and always love seeing your vintage basketball. Interestingly enough, I went to countless college basketball games here growing up here at UTC and every year it seemed in the 80’s and 90’s they always had a preseason game against Marathon Oil. Again, awesome stuff my friend. 👊🏻🏀
Awesome video Andy. The art on these are just fantastic. Loved the quick information on the players as you went through them all. Roger Brown sounds like my kinda guy. Working night shift at a car factory. Great stuff and always enjoy your videos.
Hey Steve! I figured you would appreciate Roger Brown. A lot of guys in the ABA have similar stories to him. The artwork is great on these. They’re not the easiest thing to store, but I sure like them. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Safe travels home!
Wow!! That is wonderful looking set. If I collected basketball this is the type of set I would gravitate to. The history behind the Pacers and some of the players was very cool.
Hey Greg! They’re great to have but can be a pain to store. It’s a set that’s not that important unless you’re a Pacers fan. I sure enjoy them. Thanks for the kind words.
Andy, this is a great looking team set. Really happy for you that you were able to get them all with the tabs. I think that makes them even more special. The artwork is second to none and reminds me of baseballs diamond kings. Enjoyed as always my friend. Good luck to your pacers this year!
Thanks, Mike! I’m actually watching the Pacers/Pistons game right now. Life is good, haha. Yeah, I was pretty happy to get these all with the tab. They’re not plentiful but not rare or scarce either. There probably not many of us who really want it, haha. Thanks for all the kind words and the support. Hope you have a great rest of the week.
Hello Andy, you showed us some beautiful basketball prints. I enjoyed to learn about thoses players who were at the Pacers roster first NBA season. I didn't know Mel Daniels is the ABA all time rebounds leader. Thanks you for sharing and Enjoy your Collection.
Hi Fabien! I’m happy you enjoyed the cards, the art, and the information on the players. I really enjoy these but they’re difficult to store due to their size. Thanks so much for the comment and taking the time to watch. Hope you’re having a great week.
That is a really cool set Andy. The artwork is amazing. Enjoyed learning about each of them. Think the Slick Leonard is my favorite. Thanks for sharing!
These are awesome, Andy! Really cool to see them all and hear each player’s bio. You can tell Netolicky was cool enough to own a night club. Check out the star he used to dot the i in his name 🤩 Fun to learn about these cards and to see that you have them with the tab intact.
Hey Hugo! The way Netolicky dots the i cracks me up. He was something else. One of those guys who’s slowly been forgotten over the years. I’m glad you enjoyed. I had fun doing this one. Appreciate the kind words as always. Hope you’re doing well and life is ok after the hurricanes.
Hey Andy ! Great video shoot, the last pan shot was great. Those prints came across looking beautiful. The dreaded glare was avoided on the art. Nice shot. Such cool items to add to your Pacer collection. Really neat seeing more Volpe artwork. He did the 1962 Dodger program cover my Dad has that I showed very early on where I talked about Mr. Volpe, a famous but is pretty unknown now. But thanks to me and you, people get to hear about and see his work. That is important for any artist in my book, maybe you have the same book as me. Great info on a lot of great and fun players/coach from a time in basketball when they did play for the love of the game. Today they play because they know they can make a quick bunch of bucks, it's a job they chose because they were good at it and told that's what they should. But really, the kids now play for the love of the game, the video game. Totally different generations and priorities. C ya D !
Hi Tom. I knew you did a video on Volpe. I did a quick search through your archives and didn’t find it right away. But knew you did it. I wasn’t and still not sure I pronounced it right. I ended up going off a baseball player who had the same name. I really struggle with the glare. And at a certain point I’m tired of fighting it and just apologize for it. You’re right about the differences of games between generations. Now it seems like they’re not even playing games. They’re watching others play games on RUclips. And not even watching the cinema genius you and I are constantly putting out.
@Dcollection Howdy D ! My 2 cents on Volpe came in my 6th Show. I almost always google how to pronounce names. It doesn't always help because of the various ways to say a persons last name. I'm so bad on remembering how to say names. I get it right then part way thru the Show I say it wrong. I've gotten over it. I too still fight the glare, but have gotten over that too. Dont apologize. Our presentation is still better than most. We are not pros, nor to we pretend to be. We dont have pro equipment or a proper studio. We have a couple of lamps and a phone. Doesn't get much simpler than that. Altho I have done a few Shows using a flashlight. I draw the line on using a lighter. My brain is not pro equipment, but my mind is close. I'd rather have a "brilliant" mind then a smart brain. If I had a smart brain I would do these Shows on a computer. Not gonna happen. I'll have to rely on using my mind and my Dads Collection to entertain myself as well as others. How bout this, brains go soft, while minds go evil. I dont have a evil mind, but my brain is getting Squishy. C ya Andy !
Thanks, Allen. They’re not plentiful but I don’t think they’re scarce. I figured most wouldn’t have seen them. Not because of rarity but because of interest, haha. They’re not the easiest to store but worth it for me. Appreciate you watching and the comment. Glad you’re back.
Love the artwork and colors on these Andy! I have to admit I wasn’t familiar with any of those players! 🙄 The front of these cards remind me of the 1969 Atlantic Richfield Red Sox set that I have. Thanks for sharing! I hope all is well!
Hey Jim! I completely see what you’re talking about how this set reminds you of the 69 Atlantic Richfield Sox set. I think they’re done by different artists. Thanks for watching and the comment! Hope you are doing well.
Hi Andy! That is a really cool set. Love the artwork with the portrait and action shots. Facsimile signatures have always appealed to me. It adds to the vintage appeal. Do you see the albums for sale often? Thanks for sharing a little bit of info about each of the players. I know of Mel Daniels but not about most the other players. Netolicky was Indiana’s Joe Namath. Love it! All of them lined up makes for an impressive display. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Terry! Thank you. I really like these but they’re hard to store and really haven’t found a way to display. I agree with you on the facsimile. I think it looks nice on the black backdrop. I haven’t seen the albums before besides on the back. I haven’t looked real hard on eBay though. I like Mel Daniels but always drawn to Freddie Lewis. I’m sure it’s because he played with Indy and St. Louis. And Nerolicky’s stories always amuse me. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I figured this wasn’t going to be a popular one. Appreciate all the support. Hope you’re having a great week.
Super video Andy and Fantastic Pacers set. They look fantastic. I enjoyed learning who the players were. Thanks for sharing.
I like the red, white and blue basketball shown on the front. I had one and reminds me of course of the ABA. They look great lined up.

Great stuff, Andy! I love the artwork on those and I appreciate the history lesson. Thanks for sharing and have an awesome day, my friend!
Thanks, Rob! I love the artwork as well. I’m pretty excited for basketball season. Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to watch and comment.
Great collection. Did not know of these or the Pacers history in the ABA.
Hey Diego! Glad you found this interesting. Thanks for the kind words. Thanks for watching and the comment!
Your morning is white, embroidered with flowers

Thank you! Appreciate the kind words and glad to hear something was learned. Hope all is well, TCB! Take care of yourself.

Yes different artist but similar style and design.
