Hi Steve How Are You You Make Great Video Can You Get Your Hands On The 2024 Ford Ranger Lariat And 2024 Hyundai Kona N Line And 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve
Great thanks, yourself? I definitely have a 2024 Ranger and Nautilus on deck to shoot in the next few weeks. Working on getting a Kona N Line late next month as well. So you should see those videos soon!
@CarsWithSteve 21 explorer ST. Just can't find a way to change passing blinkers from 3 to 5. Everything has changed from previous models. Also removed the key in ignition honk.
nice! You should be able to do that on the Explorer under the 724-01-01 module - check out this article - www.myfordedge.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1391 and this spreadsheet about the full module breakdown docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-_e09lLPPeSHoO3SsNwyqu5v3dgpbluvJcezUItTSVI/htmlview#
I tried under that one, it corresponds to something else. Luckily, I printed out the built sheet to change it back to original. Other forums have commented that they had no luck either. I'll still be reaserching into it. Thank you for the response.👍
Great video thanks for sharing I wish Ford would add power close. That would be really nice for when you realize you left your windows up while it's raining
You're welcome! Agree with you there.. there are some Ford/Lincoln vehicles that do have power up and down but it's odd the Explorer doesn't have it standard. You might be able to enable it using the Forscan app if you're tech savvy but most performance shops should be able to help you out as well
Thank you for your videos. I was pushing the unlock button to activate the auto windows down, and somehow it also activated an open door chime that was never there before. Would you know how to disable the open door chime? Thank you
You're welcome! You can toggle off different settings through the infotainment screen. Here's a video that walks you through the whole screen - ruclips.net/video/40mL-UPCnes/видео.html
Not by default.. from the factory it's only the ST, King Ranch and Platinum. You can ask the shop manager nicely if they'll enable it or you can use the Forscan app to do it yourself if you're tech savvy
There actually is a spot you can place the fob to start. You’re the first person who has ever brought that up! You’d place the dead fob in the slot in the armrest - I’ll look at putting a video together on it
@CarsWithSteve I'd love to see because I don't want to end up screwed on vacation if battery dies, and also On remote start, what does it do if I uncheck mark remote start - system
Tweak your climate settings from "Auto" to "Last Settings" and just make sure you turn it off when you hop out of the car. I have a full walkthrough video on the Sync3 screen here: Sync3 8" Media Screen - ruclips.net/video/40mL-UPCnes/видео.html Sync3 10.1" Media Screen - ruclips.net/video/5HI5q-V-sd4/видео.html
I cant put into words how much I appreciate this video, thank you!
You're welcome!
Long as I'm alive, I have to get a ford explorer st for sure. In the future. I just love them so much
Nice! What color do you think you'd go for?
Just got mine yesterday. Blacked out Explorer makes me feel like Batman lol

With forscan, you can turn on a few switches to close the windows with the key fob. I did
Such a useful too! What's the model/year of the Ford you activated it on?

Hmm.. if you end up figuring it out, circle back and let me know in case people run into the same question!

That’s so cool the window
Right?

do the double click for the window down work with 22, I have st 2022?
It should be there.. if it's not working just make sure you enable it. I show how it's enabled closer to the end of the video
@@CarsWithSteve I tried to enable my windows on my 22 and I don’t have the windows option under the vehicle option
I have 2 ford explorer STs
The one with the sunroof has window option and the one without sunroof doesn’t have window option on sync 3
Oh interesting! Are they the 400a or 401a pack?
@@CarsWithSteve my wife’s is fully loaded. Mine just doesn’t have sun roof
I love this. My third vehicle in a row where this shit doesn’t work.
HAHA! What trim level of the Explorer do you have?
Do the same process but with the lock button to roll windows back up!
Unfortunately not.. you might be able to enable it through the Forscan app if you're tech savvy...
Does this work for an XLT explorer? I tried it on my 21 and doesn't seem to work.
Not by default.. from the factory it's only the ST, King Ranch and Platinum. You can ask the shop manager nicely if they'll enable it or you can use the Forscan app to do it yourself if you're tech savvy
so basically if your fob dies, you can use key to open the door, but not start the car?

If you toggle that off in the infotainment screen it’ll turn off remote start through the fob
@CarsWithSteve was hoping I could do remote start without the ac or climate control coming on each time

Can someone get in your car once u walk away from the car if u forgot to lock it
Yes, the Explorer does not have a walk away lock feature. But you can connect the phone via the FordPass app and lock the doors remotely!
