@@cybyrd9615 that is not the case. Firstly, a mitre can be cut perfectly fine with a regular handsaws with as little as a ruler and a pencil. Secondly, a mitre joint is only held together by the strength of the glue. The joint made here is a haunched mortice and tenon joint. It is used in door frames as it creates a much larger surface area for the glue, and its held together by the strength of the wood aswell
That would take forever.. dude there's routers n jig saws n wood biscuits n regular screws n all kinds of shit. Ur doin it cave man style. But I agree it would be a strong joint if u used wood glue with it. Cuz right now all that work n only thing holdin it is a single screw
