I'm really please with the tent, Simon, it's perfect for what I want it for. I do like to cook fresh food every now and again and the Trangia Mini is perfect. Stay safe mate. 👍
Really pleased with the tent , light and really easy to set up. Looks like the lakes will have to wait as something cropped up but I will take a trip up into the Peak District instead. Thanks for watching mate, ATB Mark.
Folks it dont matter if its a Hileberg. Get out and enjoy. You can do it all cheaply as there are many affordable options. Its about the adventure. The experience.
@@QuakerJones268 Funny I have just literally 10 mins ago received a £25 85 litre rucksack from blacks reduced. It's only just over 1kg but not the best quality but if it lasts a year and reduces the weight while out and about this year im happy. If it lasts longer, even better. I carry needles and thread just in case, anyway.
@@QuakerJones268 glad you enjoyed it mate nowt worse than spending alot of money on something and being unhappy with it so good you like it ☺️👍 did my first woodland wild camp last weekend on derwent was a good night
What a lovely place to camp. I need a gear store like you. I have stuff under my bed and my kids' beds. I don't want to risk it in my garage. It's taken quite a longtime to build it up. ATB David
Thanks, David. I don't normally do woodland camping but this one really opened up my mind to how relaxing it can be. I don't do fires and I always leave no trace so it's perfect if I go back to the same pitch in a few weeks. Thanks for watching, really appreciate it.
Great upload Mark, hopefully we can get a group meet later in the year, always fancied a woodland camp especially at Wooler Knoll but I fear other people doing the same and starting fires 😡😡. The new Hilleberg looks top quality wish I had the money for another one, but for now it's use the Allak all year round until finance picks up.
I don't normally do woodland camping as there are no views of mountains and valleys etc. But I have to admit the sounds of nature in a remote woodland more than compensate. Hope you're well mate. 👍
Hi Mark, bit late to the party - great video. I have a Soulo, which I love. But just had a camp in the lakes and thought that I’d like something else for summer and thought about the Anaris. Looks like a great option. Is the weight difference really noticeable? Would like to get my summer pack size down to a 35 L. Is that feasible with the Anaris? Thanks mate
Hi Simon, I love the Anaris for summer, I've used it a couple of times now and I'm about to use it for a two nighter this weekend. It packs down really small and yeah, I can definitely notice the difference in the weight. Thanks for watching 👍
Great woodland camp and there is nothing nicer that the bird song and stillness.
👍⛺🌞
I don't camp it woodland very often but I really do enjoy it for those very reasons. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice one mate, glad the tent is working well. That was a half decent cook up 👍🏻

Good to see you back out mate. Tent looks great, looking forward to your Lakes experience with it. Trangia mini looks a good investment too. ATB Dan

Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes you are absolutely correct, people don't need expensive gear to enjoy the outdoors.

It’s a perk of having grown up kids,I get to have their rooms. 👍
