As a flag football expert and coach I don’t focus a ton of energy on D and O-Line drills. Sorry - let me know if you find an awesome resource so I can share it with others. Great question!!

The center shouldn’t have his hands on the laces. Because when he rotates the ball (snapping) the laces would be on the bottom, which you clearl y note at the 2:20 mark the QB wants the laces up.

Laces to the right if your center is left handed and laces to the left if your center is right handed.
I’ve never played flag football or football in general so I need to learn how to play center and be more consistent

Ha! Just some hustle, and iPhone, and some stuff I’ve learned along the way.
And I train people for a living so that helps!
does it matter if you hold the ball horizontally?
Some refs want the ball to start vertically, but you can try horizontal and see if you can get away with it. I usually like holding it vertically then turning it horizontal midair to make sure the QB gets it horizontally. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. 🏈🔥
What if you eat beans the day before?

My QB always holds his hands like he's about to clap and not like an alligator. Should I hike the ball nose first in this scenario or no?
Yes - watch some of the pros and even flag QBs in shotgun and you’ll see the ball come at them nose first. So yes, in that case you are correct.

Does this stand for shotgun?
Dom Bry yes it does. Just make sure to not place the ball too far in front of you otherwise it will float, but the technique is similar.
