    It can be tempting to try to prove that success is not based on luck, but it's important to recognize that luck plays a role in many aspects of life. While hard work and dedication are important for achieving success, sometimes unexpected events or circumstances can also contribute to success. It's important to be open to the possibility that luck may play a role in your own journey, and to be grateful for any opportunities or advantages that come your way. At the same time, it's also important to remember that luck is not the only factor at play, and to continue working hard and pursuing your goals.

    95% of the time it’s definitely not based on luck. I’ve been grinding a little over a year, editing the best I can, trying to overall make the best content I can, and I just hit 291 subs. Ngl, I’m proud of it. I’m going towards 70,000 total views. It takes a long time for most of us, but that’s the grind! You have to love making content to be consistent, and stick through it. I’ve been making videos since I was like 8 on my dads fat tape camera, so if I haven’t quit in 19 years, I’m not quitting anytime soon if God permits me! Great video man. No, I can assure you, it is 99% luck. I will admit, RUclipsrs who put in effort, time, and patience are more likely to succeed, but even with that, you have to compete with hundreds of millions of other people’s videos, and you have to make yours stand out. You might ask all the big RUclipsrs and they’ll say it’s skill, but that’s because the RUclipsrs that didn’t get picked didn’t get lucky enough to get people to click, making them just another ordinary RUclipsr. *It is luck, and nobody can change my mind.*

  • @runthenumbers9698
    @runthenumbers9698 Год назад +6

    Major detail left out...
    RUclips knows it's him. It's called an IP address.
    Sure, he's starting a new channel from scratch, but RUclips absolutely incorporates IP addresses into their algorithms.
    For example, if your IP has been removed from RUclips before, your new channel is going to have a tough time getting off the ground.
    Already having a successful channel on that IP proves to RUclips that SOMEONE in your household knows how to make content within the rules. You will already be fast-tracked the moment RUclips notices a similar IP fingerprint.

    • @Mightydoggo
      @Mightydoggo Год назад +1

      It´s probably way more than that, like IP plus cookies plus browser fingerprint. That way you can almost *always* identify a person, even when another device is used.
      Just the IP wouldn´t do much as the provider might use dynamic Ip adresses as standard protocol and it would also be vulnerable to IP spoofing.

      Yeah, my cousin got kicked off facebook, but facebook kept bumping his new accounts. Even now, he has a facebook without his name on it that he just uses to interact with facebook groups. He doesn't integrate his number... but facebook still keeps suggesting friends of his. Facebook knows, but they just aren't sure enough to bump him... and besides, how much damage can he do when he isn't interacting with anyone?
      He asked me how to start over on facebook and I told him
      First, change your email... then your number... then your name... then move... order your internet service under your wife's name, change your phone, change your computer, any wifi you have ever used in your life... never use it again, don't add any old facebook friends, Don't join groups you've joined before... and I think that should do it probably... for a bit.

      I'm not a YT professional but I just say some honest points: thumbnails are boring, dont pop and are not consistent -> no branding; topics are all over the place; you take way too long to get into the topic that everyone has clicked for -> if you do "x vs. y", the video should purely be about that. At this point no one cares about your personal traveling too, even though it could be interesting in the future. You may even be able to put all of this in the video, but the main conversation should be about the title and topic. Honestly if you're outside that much it would make for a very interesting video because of the constant change of scene/background. But you have to stay on topic and dont make it 50% vlog and 50% informational. But 90% information/value and 10% personal vlogging. The first thing you say has to be an interesting hook that fits the topic. Open it with an open question for example. Hope I could help

    What is the best time to change a thumbnail if it's not doing as expected? because as you said in the beginning, it might take some time to blow up, or it might tank if you don't change the thumbnail... Is there a metric you can kind of keep an eye on as a reminder to change the thumbnail?

    I think it’s easier for someone already established on RUclips to gain a following on a new channel. They know the tricks and have already put in the hard work to know what’s required. I’m trying to find my way been on RUclips for a month and still at 0 subs and like 30 views, all of them my own.

      I know that feeling. My job is teaching English online, and I have made a few videos on another account. But even my own students don't watch them, let alone other viewers from search and recommended.
      I think RUclips knows who is making what and recommends it accordingly. Unless Biaheza made all the content on a freshly bought laptop with a seperate internet connection, I'd say this experiment is biased.

    Well it's not easy basically... you have to pay people for a voiceover for each video and take 4 hours to edit each video... You need hundreds of videos for your channel to take off so it's probably going to be a very tedious thing to do in the long run.

    Anyone wondering I am not plugging my channel just showing, what I’ve learned much love anyone.
    One thing I’ve noticed is people constantly saying you have to be ground braking…. This mindset you’ll never grow with this mindset I’ve been doing RUclips for 4 days in these 4 days I’ve learned how to play the algorithm of such and gotten better at editing. Also for anyone wondering let’s plays work bro, but be interesting and charismatic. 2.) also work on editing but also upload to unedited version because if you’re good some people may watch it 3.) never and I mean ever stop growing your knowledge pewdiepie started where I am at anyone can do it with the right mindset

      @@dna8269 So here’s the thing, different yes ground break no, because a lot of the time when people say this they mean stuff like Ludwig or M.Beast it’s best to be yourself and show why people should watch you different yes but ground breaking is such a high bar it because toxic because you’re always chasing this bar. Like I’ve said I’ve been doing RUclips for 6 days and already learned alot so now I am trying to get past the anxiety/weirdness of talking to a camera

    before even initially watching this video, its 100% possible. its 1 thing to be consistent, but its another to find that higher ground niche only you have, your little own spice to the video u cant find no where else, than using that as leverage to market the video in higher means. itll obviously take time, im thinking some months of hard consistency and work, learning, playing with editing styles, flow of the video etc, tell you find a style that retains the most viewers, after you get it started and going with a community base, u can then start to hire a team
