Great video's, very easy to follow, Might need to check that the hard brake line { looks to be at the top of the cut out hole } is not being hit be the harder inner guards, the body of the vehicle will move on the chassis...
Could'nt agree more. Have to say Adam is the Oracle when it comes to building/installing tutorials. 😁👍🏽 just off topic, is wait times this bad? Ordered our XT in Jan this year, dealer says Oct at earliest, dam! 😳
Hi, I see you have used a few mods from MUNJI on your truck. What do you think about the EGR delete cable they have for the 4JJ1 & 4JJ3? Would you install them on your truck?
Hi Adam, might be a silly question, but what are you trying to achieve, but replacing the rubber curtains? I know they are crap. So what are you trying to protect? Cheers Jamie
hey mate, for some reason your comment got put in spam just found it, I was finding the rubber ones were already rubbing from the swaybar movement, starting to look untidy, these were a much nicer solution to keeping the muck out
Hey Adam I finally got my X-terrain on Wednesday I'm just wondering if you have changed out the interior lights to LEDs and if so how do I get the front lights that are near the sunglasses holder out cheers 🍻
Hi Adam, Hope you can give me some advice here. I have a 2022 MUX with a similar/identical front suspension setup to your D-Max. I am wanting to install 265/70R17 tires without doing any lift. This size is about 33mm taller than my current size 265/50R20 which adds about 15mm ground clearance, but it will also be 15mm closer to the roof of the wheel arch. I'm a little bit concerned that the tire will hit the roof of the wheel arc when the suspension bottoms out. Do you know how much upward suspension travel these vehicles have in stock form to the point they bottom out? The distance between my lower control arm to the bump stop is about 26-27mm when the vehicle is on level ground. But I know LCA travels in an arc, so 26-27mm at this point would mean more travel at the tires. Have you done similar investigations or measurements?
I haven't had any experience with the MUX I'm afraid so aren't sure. I run 285/65/18 on my rig at the moment on 18/8.5 +18 rims, no issues with scrub if that helps.
Awesome work mate👍 i am looking at getting these but there are 3 height options available, i got the same suspension lift as you but just wandering what height option you chose when you ordered these?
Hmm unsure, wasn't the height options at the time, am running on the Outback Armour lift, maybe just ask em for the same as VSMH if you're running a similar lift
Really appreciate the detail and info on all of your vids Adam. Tkx. 👍 Couple questions please: - Since its winter, how much have these reduced mess thrown into the engine bay? - Do you think that after 10000Km they'll rattle? (aka: worth a strip of foam on the edges that contact the chassis?) - And lastly, your weathershields, did they come "opaque", or did you plasti-dip them on the inside? 😆
Hi brother, i'm amazed with the job that you are going at tour truck big fan of work until now... Small question...when you are going to take the Blue Dinossaur to a off road test?

Hi, are the rivnut holes at the previous clip points that hold the OEM rubber? Just need to enlarge the holes to 9mm?
Another nice little mod for the dmax man I just did that to mine this weekend to.
Loving the build vids brotha, can't wait to start mine when it gets here ..your vids are perfect for an amateur like myself👍

Yeah EGR defeat devices aren't for me (or crazy fines if caught)
looks great...good job
Hey mate..what size your wheels and what brand? Thanks😊
Hi Adam, me again. If I don't have a Riv nut tool, do you still recommend their other method of securing the curtains. Cheers Jamie
You can use the bolt trick for no rivnut tool, have a few example videos on the channel. Their other method works fine also
Looks good!

Juuust

Yep sure have, they just clip out, just get a little flat head and there's a small groove to lever it out, there's a cover each side
