It's not even about claim, we literally saw him punk Code out. The thing you're not getting about sage mode and MS is that they are additives in power...the stronger the base, the stronger the power up is...Hokage Naruto's sage mode isn't capped to the power he had when he fought pain, because Naruto is stronger than he was when he fought pain. EMS Sasuke isn't capped to the power he had when he fought Juubi Obito, because he's grown stronger...Sarada and Mitsuki's base have improved drastically since boruto part 1, call it a power creep but it's a fact...if Sarada with 3T can counter Hidari and can damage him later on when he's on guard with a chidori stream, the power boost with mangekyou is gonna be closer to ryu than you think...just like how Naruto with only KCM1 was Hashirama saying "he's almost got as much power as me" and then Naruto literally had KCM2 Sage Mode in his back pocket...it's linear scaling.

As a sarada/uchiha fan along with some others, we had high hopes that sarada will do something spectacular in two blue vortex following her efforts in the pre-timeskip in the manga and anime. However, seeing how kishimoto and ikemoto have been treating her for the past 17 to 18 chapters, some of us have become sceptical if she will ever play any vital role in the first place. Anyways, we will keep our expectations very low so that if there are any disappointments, we won't be surprised or go apeshit because, we somehow saw it coming.

Honestly, i was expecting things to get grim for sarada after she stabbed yodo, just like how it got grim for Kakashi when he unintentionally donuted 🍩 rin. But maybe ikemoto is scared of killing characters, let's be honest. Or maybe he wants things to go fine, then bring Jura to massacre everyone in one chapter 🤔. Uchihas grow more stronger after witnessing someone dies in front of them. The same thing happened with madara after tobirama killed his brother, the same thing happened with fugaku after his friend died during war( mangekyo sharingan), the same thing happened with obito after Kakashi killed rin, the same thing happened with Itachi after shisui's death and finally the same thing happened after Sasuke killed Itachi or after Itachi allowed himself to be killed. Sasuke grew more stronger after learning the truth about from obito. In short, sarada still needs a little push to unlock her full potential. Hopefully Ryu will give her that push. Especially if he kills the sand shinobis and gravely hurts mitsuki. This is the only chance for her to grow stronger than ever. Hopefully she wears her jacket properly and close it or just remove it for fan service(Trinity style). As for Mitsuki, he needs to be defeated by Ryu then have a showdown later. His revenge. After this mission, mitsuki and sarada will know their opponents which are hidari and Ryu. Matsuri might capture konohamaru captive. I doubt she'll kill him because of moegi's feelings. Having konohamaru as Jura's captive will be greater than being killed. I know Jura is an elegant man of culture, he'll give konohamaru a good hospitality and ask him questions about Naruto including his whereabouts. Learning about Naruto from konohamaru is Jura's chance. I think Jura didn't know himawari was Naruto's daughter otherwise he would have asked her about her father. He'll make sure to keep her with him until Naruto is brought to him. But we know kawaki might just use substitution jutsu to impersonate Naruto and go rescue himawari. Or maybe boruto will impersonate Naruto while kawaki shrinks to infiltrate and rescue himawari. Boruto can escape death through the flying raijin and show up to kawaki's location to teleport them with him.
Story writing is terrible and characters writing are lame idk why people are so fixated on defending and hoping that this series would be good when it's not just bcoz u make mc suddenly into edgy doesn't mean its good writing for mc ( boruto) and it's annoying when other mc (kawaki) is also edgy as well .

EMS Sasuke isn't capped to the power he had when he fought Juubi Obito, because he's grown stronger...Sarada and Mitsuki's base have improved drastically since boruto part 1, call it a power creep but it's a fact...if Sarada with 3T can counter Hidari and can damage him later on when he's on guard with a chidori stream, the power boost with mangekyou is gonna be closer to ryu than you think...just like how Naruto with only KCM1 was Hashirama saying "he's almost got as much power as me" and then Naruto literally had KCM2 Sage Mode in his back pocket...it's linear scaling.
@NarutoExplained Agreed but my point for Sarada specifically is that she in base shouldn't be all that strong she doesn't have Kurama nor is she a cyborg or an Otsutsuki her base or MS shouldn't realistically make her on the same level even her training during the time skip wasn't much as she was focused on clearing Boruto and Sasuke names and unlike her father she doesn't seem as motivated to gain power and train relentlessly as him the only way I see this working is some INSANE MS Ability that would make her atleast be able to stand next to the others with her hax and provide support like you said but I don't see a way for her to gain enough power to fight alone on this level

As a sarada/uchiha fan along with some others, we had high hopes that sarada will do something spectacular in two blue vortex following her efforts in the pre-timeskip in the manga and anime. However, seeing how kishimoto and ikemoto have been treating her for the past 17 to 18 chapters, some of us have become sceptical if she will ever play any vital role in the first place. Anyways, we will keep our expectations very low so that if there are any disappointments, we won't be surprised or go apeshit because, we somehow saw it coming.

I am not saying sarada is useless or anything. All i am saying that this time, we should keep our expectations low because there is no guarantee that kishimoto or ikemoto will make her do something very important, let alone remember that she is playing an important role. Truth is if we have a high expectation, you might get disappointed and that's why people who are fans of a character lose it when the writer disappoints them or does an asspull.

Uchihas grow more stronger after witnessing someone dies in front of them. The same thing happened with madara after tobirama killed his brother, the same thing happened with fugaku after his friend died during war( mangekyo sharingan), the same thing happened with obito after Kakashi killed rin, the same thing happened with Itachi after shisui's death and finally the same thing happened after Sasuke killed Itachi or after Itachi allowed himself to be killed. Sasuke grew more stronger after learning the truth about from obito. In short, sarada still needs a little push to unlock her full potential. Hopefully Ryu will give her that push. Especially if he kills the sand shinobis and gravely hurts mitsuki. This is the only chance for her to grow stronger than ever. Hopefully she wears her jacket properly and close it or just remove it for fan service(Trinity style). As for Mitsuki, he needs to be defeated by Ryu then have a showdown later. His revenge.
After this mission, mitsuki and sarada will know their opponents which are hidari and Ryu. Matsuri might capture konohamaru captive. I doubt she'll kill him because of moegi's feelings. Having konohamaru as Jura's captive will be greater than being killed. I know Jura is an elegant man of culture, he'll give konohamaru a good hospitality and ask him questions about Naruto including his whereabouts. Learning about Naruto from konohamaru is Jura's chance. I think Jura didn't know himawari was Naruto's daughter otherwise he would have asked her about her father. He'll make sure to keep her with him until Naruto is brought to him.
But we know kawaki might just use substitution jutsu to impersonate Naruto and go rescue himawari. Or maybe boruto will impersonate Naruto while kawaki shrinks to infiltrate and rescue himawari. Boruto can escape death through the flying raijin and show up to kawaki's location to teleport them with him.
