I didn't send yesterday after five sessions on a boulder that I was really expecting to day flash. That's the way it goes sometimes and gives us something to come back to... #support_failure 😂
Amazing. I remember seeing this in person and it looked so tempting but also terrifying. Props to both of you for committing on the move. Also damn whoever laid those pads before Kyle's fall...
I DID NOT SEND. in fact, this past friday, i sprained my ankle on a very controlled fall off of yabba dabba don't (you guys know it). similar mechanism, fell right on my pad, but due to an irregularity underneath, the pad buckled a bit and it turned. i have a question for you guys - was it broken? if just a sprain, how long was it until you were back to crushing it again (as is apparent from the vids)? i'm at a low point and need a success story. thanks in advance for any insights! P.S. i just subscribed
I've sprained my ankle many times, and the timeline for healing is always different. Sometimes it takes 2 weeks to be back to normal! The worst sprain I had made my ankle hurt for about 3-4 months, but I was able to get back into climbing as long as I didn't do any moves that specifically twisted that ankle, and as long as I didn't take any big falls. 6 months and I was absolutely fine. Just remember, regardless of the severity of your sprain, google some rehab exercises! (After the 1st week) It's important to re-strengthen your ankle otherwise it will sprain easier next time! I habitually did the exercises in this video: ruclips.net/video/W9lT3gfehC0/видео.html My ankle feels 100% good now, so don't despair! -Kyle
I never send. Literally, I go out, and maybe 1 out of 5 times out do I send what I intended to climb. I feel like this is the way, but I also feel like it also puts ones ego on the brink of insanity. Either way, I somehow find a way to keep trying hard (a lot) and I'm just hoping things work out... 🙏 Gains will come. Boulders will submit. Maybe? 😅

It was a team blunder. In the end, I blame nobody but myself for not sticking the move...

Thanks Kyle! That’s super helpful. I’m able to balance on one foot and do strength exercises 5 days out, so I’m hopeful!
@@flyingwombat83 Hey, thats a good sign! I'm hopeful for you too!
