you're forgetting that this is a portable game, the graphics were brought down to keep a solid 60 frames per second, and gameplay is more important than graphics so its still a great game.

I guess the graphics would be like HD tv/movies. You notice the difference between the two when you look for it and see the two back to back but if your watching tv one day and the it's HD the next day you wouldn't notice it, assuming your far enough away from the tv to keep from burning your corneas.
I was at my brother's hockey game when I was 3(yes I am Canadian) and I asked my parents for 1$ so I could try an arcade game, I played a Mortal Kombat arcade machine for like 2 minutes but I selected Sub-Zero and ever since than Sub-Zero has been my favourite character in Mortal Kombat not just because it was my first time playing an MK game but because Mortal Kombat was the first video game I remember playing.

very underrated character, I am also pretty good with him as he is fast, and easy to spam/chain multiple moves.

My favorite characters are the ones people underestimate or don't use. Sindel, Sonya, and Sheeva, they are all lovely hardcore ladies.

In terms of story and badass, Scorpion is my favourite. In terms of gameplay, my mains are Smoke, Kabal and Ermac and therefore my other favourites.
