OK so 25 years ago we had a medieval wedding - for around $5k total at a stone tearoom in a state park. The guests are what made it -- we suggested they come in costume and boy did they... The most memorable: a king and queen, two jesters, a prince charming, a 7' tall executioner and my personal favorite: two coworkers who showed up in burlap sacks as the poor.
I love the idea of a medieval wedding when done correctly. If he was going to settle for a traditional dress he should have bought one, it's something you want to keep. The venue was too expensive imo, it really blew their budget. It was overall a good attempt, I hope that rental place can negotiate selling her the dress.
I was thinking the same thing. He seems Very immature. It's almost like he's pretend playing with all his life size toys. No concern for budget or real life responsibilities after this wedding. Going into debt over 1 day.
The groom talks about the Renaissance, but says, "Medieval," an earlier time with different dress styles. I'm surprised that David didn't call him out on that--to be more specific.
He has to much of an ego. Took things way over board. All about himself, especially when it came down to the dress, which was a rental. Only thing she's going to remember this is the dress being a rental. He was a dorky groom over all! I would never have forgiven him for this dorky wedding!
The fact that he spent so much on everything else bitched about her not spending $400 on party favors but made her wear a rental dress. I'd feel so disappointed and hurt I don't think I'd forgive a guy for that.
I like 🏰 theme but 🏰 👯♀️ for entertainment, props as decor, and who rents a 💒 👗 from a costume shop? I don’t mind the 🐴 and carriage and the under budget homemade favors, but I’m not really sure about the rented lantern centerpieces. This is why 🤵🏽♂️ shouldn’t take charge of the 💒 planning
These episodes are getting worse all this over the top behaviour for the cameras and the grooms are becoming more pathetic. It’s about the marriage not the grooms ego !
'OLD ENGLISH'...MYMYMY HAVING A 'CULTURAL IDENTITY' SURE SEEMS ULTRA IMPORTANT TO THE MARTENS PEOPLE. HAHAH OLD ENGLISH. YUP...THAT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE. WE ALL KNOW WHERE YOURE FROM. DONT WORRY.
THIS GUY IS SO EMBARASSING BUT HE HAD MY SERUM BEFORE HE WENT. I KNOW HE DID. BECAUSE I REMEMBER THE LOOKING FOR MEDIEVAL STUFF LIKE ARMOUR. HE DID THAT ON MY WATCH! MINE. I WANTV HIM TAKEN CARE OF. GUYS

I was scared watching the cost add up but the Wedding was beautiful.
The dress and everything turned out beautiful despite his recklessness

More Renaissance Faire than Renaissance, but the couple couple seemed to really enjoy themselves.
That was bothering me too.
I was afraid he'd end up with a mish mash of styles covering several centuries and looking absurd.
Someone tell him it's a wedding not a child's birthday party
Agree TACKY LN ON NATIONAL TVS😮
Life lesson: it’s one day that no one will remember and after 10 years you won’t remember either. Don’t go into debt before you are married.
I wholeheartedly agree! My wedding: community hall, or a park. Potluck, guests bring their favorite dish. BOYOB. I'll supply the cake.
Don't go into debt... buy real estate
@@maverickmayhem6409 buy?
Plenty of people remember. Especially the couple. What is important to remember is you don't have to go broke to make it special.
This couple was very fair and combined both expectations! Congratulations to them! Very little arguing!
Not gonna lie, the grooms enthusiasm was adorable. He did a good job.
The groom looks like my old narcissistic boyfriend. And the wedding followed suit....😪 I'm glad she was happy. But nothing was what she wanted.
He has to much of an ego. Took things way over board. All about himself, especially when it came down to the dress, which was a rental. Only thing she's going to remember this is the dress being a rental. He was a dorky groom over all! I would never have forgiven him for this dorky wedding!

So true yaar. This bride is a saint !
I wonder if she could have offered to buy the dress after the wedding
I wish I could have been planning this wedding
The cookies were a great idea... Maybe they could have been embellished a little bit medieval
She’s spoiled and annoying. They could’ve went to the courthouse and he’s all about money they’re not a good match

this guy is terrifying the wedding planner with his zealousness 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i love how excited he is
Funny how the groom says I want to surprise my bride. When really it’s for him. 🇬🇧
I CLICKED ON REBEL SPORT AD IT DID NOT OPEN
Why have a wedding planner of your not going to pay any attention to what he has to say? That groom is way to eager.
THAT ONE WAS TEH SECOND AD IN THE RIGHT SIDE COLUMN. UNDER GRAMMARLY

i think with the groom episodes they deliberately sought out over the top grooms. Then added in extra for the script

I really hope he is just a staged, overacting guy. Otherwise, he is impossible.

SO I MUST BE RESPONDING TO THE COLOUR BECAUSE I AM SLOWER. CANT CATCH THE READS ADDRESS. PURPLE.
Are the guests going to be chew n on a big smoked turkey leg?
THE GROOM LOOKS LIKE A 'MARTENS'. THEY ARE NOT ENGLISH.
Now this couple's in love she wasn't a witchy bride and he was a sweet groom this marriage will last
AND THERES SIX SEPARATED CANDLES IN THE BACK, A DISMANTLED CHANUKA LIGHT. ITS OBVIOUS.
