It was just part of the budget. Watching these shows, I can’t believe how expensive wedding dresses are now. I got married 22 years ago, and I thought paying one thousand for a dress was expensive. Glad I’m not getting married now.

The florist was absolutely INSANE. She knew taking the orchids off of the top of the vase was a no go. And then she threw those two stems in the shorter vase as a solution 😭. I wonder if this couple lasted, they are polar opposites. The bride is absolutely ridiculous, i don’t know how this budget conscious groom is going to live the rest of his life with someone who does not see the importance of budgeting.
Why do people have to go big or go home when it comes to weddings. It's crazy especially when you consider that a lot of these marriages don't last 5 yrs if that long. Your family and friends are there to witness and help celebrate your union. All that money for a dress that will only be worn once in most cases elaborate floral arrangements huge cake then you want to entertain the guest please for what, put some disposable cameras on the tables that will give them something to do. I've never been to a wedding that has entertainment or over the top stuff. All they have to do is bring the ring back after the wedding to be sized
David is my favorite wedding planner on this show! 💗 And her bridesmaids are so wrong… the bride doesn’t buy the bridesmaid’s dresses, the bridesmaids purchase the dress that the bride chooses for them (at least that is the way it is here in the States).
In uk bride buys bridesmaids dresses and groom usually buys them a jewellery keepsake thank you gift to wear on day! Like a necklace or bracelet 🥰 My daughter had short lemon dresses for her bridesmaids and was lucky enough to find them in a wedding shop on sale for £28 each ! So cos these dresses were a bargain she also bought them 2 pairs of shoes each to wear on day closed in court shoes for wedding then sandals for after ! Plus she supplied white wedding flip flops in a net drawstring bag for all the female guests for comfort in evening 🥰 The wedding cake was endless supply of crispy Kreme ring donuts on a stand in shape of 3 tier wedding cake with a small naked Cake on top with bride and groom lego figures 🥰🥰🥰🥰

it depends on the wedding. Sometimes the bride buys the dresses as a gift. If it's a dress that the bride particularly wants or is a bit expensive then she buys it because the maids have no further use for them or it's unrealistic the expect the bridesmaids to pay for them. If the bridesmaids get to pick the dress/or each bridesmaid can pick their own dress within a set of parameters and it's not too expensive then the maids can pay. If there are a lot of maids then the maids will also be more likely to pay
I really like that the bride paid for her bridesmaids dresses. That’s the way it should be and shows she has respect for the girls supporting her at her wedding. It’s really entitled how most brides think their friends are required to paid hundreds sometimes even a thousand for a dress for their party
